Xiaomi Phone (Chinese: 小米手机; pinyin: Xiǎomǐ Shŏujī) is a mobile phone designed by the Xiaomi Tech Company, which was created by Lei Jun, CEO of Kingsoft. Xiaomi is a high-end smartphone, using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 (dual core, 1.5GHz) as its CPU and an Adreno 220 as its GPU[2], but its price (RMB1999/around USD310)[3] is less than half the cost of a typical dual-core CPU smartphone.[4] When it was released[5], the phone received more than 300,000 pre-orders in the first 34 hours.[6].

Xiaomi is shipped with MIUI pre-loaded, but also supports stock Android ROMs[7] and other 3rd party ROMs, and is in consideration to add Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 to the phone. [8].
