Nice finds

I've noticed your recent additions to the alumni section of the University of Minnesota Law School, I just wanted to thank you for your detective work in finding some notable individuals. Maybe one day someone can get around to writing at least a stub article for them. --Bobak (talk) 20:12, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for List of University of Wisconsin–Madison people. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. PDCook (talk) 00:41, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

Greetings and thank you for your contributions. It would he helpful if when editing, you used an edit summary, so that the page history will reveal what changes you've made. For example, you could simply state "Added So-and-so to notable alumni." For more information, take a look at WP:Edit summary. Regards, P. D. Cook Talk to me! 23:09, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

I've noticed that you are adding reflist to the external links section of articles. Would it be possible for you to remove them ? They shouldn't be there. The reflist goes in the References section and in many cases it's already there so the refs are appearing twice in the article. Thanks. Sean.hoyland - talk 18:44, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. Do not remove well referenced citations from pages of notable politicians; clearly in line with your political motivations based on your edit history. R3ap3R.inc (talk) 18:29, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Harold LeVander, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article.  Chzz  ►  01:12, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:23, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
