Regarding website link
Hi Sir @Materialscientist- the article Pahari people (Kashmir) under editing is away from the ground facts. A Goverment of Jammu and Kashmir department working for Pahari Speaking People of the area refers them as linguitic group on official website. Link peasted as citation but the article in question is saying that this is an ethinic group which is not correct. It looks that a major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject/ community which is making this article onesided.May please see.
IP has now created an account
Hi MS. As per my previous message, it would appear the same IP has now created an account to make the same disruptive edits (IP edit vs Teminater edit). The matching pipe-linked edit summaries are also a bit of a giveaway as well as the articles being edited. Could I ask you to take a look please? Robvanvee 10:58, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

- It is not a script, it is an advanced program called WP:HG, which often mishandles realtime reverts and substitutes the vandalising user with the reverting user. Range block?
Hello, Materialscientist! At the talk page of Sasha Banks, you blocked a disruptive IP, 41.45.127.142. Another IP in the same general range, 41.45.113.9, promptly started disrupting. Would a rangeblock be possible? If it is, I’d prefer that to protecting the talk page as requested at RFPP. Thanks. -- MelanieN (talk) 01:20, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Rangeblocking or semiprotrotecting is technically possible, but there is not enough disruption for either action. Post something here if the situation escalates. Materialscientist (talk) 09:11, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Question about edits on hip hop feminism article
hey, Materialscientist, i saw you reverted my edits on the lead section of the hip hop feminism article here: Hip-hop feminism. i shortened the lead section to better reflect what hip hop feminism is an a type of black feminism in the lead section rather than opening on what a hip hop feminist (the person who studies/or is a hip hop feminism). although you said this edit was unconstructive, i was wondering could you suggest what would be a more constructive edit to improve the article. Thanks and suggestion regarding persistent disruptive editor
Thanks for cleaning up after and putting a block on 2603:6080:e01::/64 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). This is a persistent user who disruptively edits on two very specific topics...sister city pairings and children's TV shows. For reference, there are two previous ANI discussions about this user here and here. I see they also made another disruptive edit yesterday from 98.122.148.179 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), which had previously had a temp block on it. I'd like to suggest a longer block on 2603:6080:e01::/64 than the 60 hours you put on it, and a fresh block on 98.122.148.179. This person has engaged in this behavior over a period of almost four months now, refuses to respond to talk page messages, and is undeterred by IP blocks once they're able to move to a new IP or the blocks expire, so I'm not sure what else can be done. Thanks again. WildCowboy (talk) 17:11, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi Materialscientist,
I would write my question there, but the users involved just commented on my talk page directly above. So they would read the conversation too and it would be hard to ask for admin help without them seeing why I was trying to get admin help for incivility. I tried leaving several incivility warnings already. So it might start more drama if it is on my talk page. Please advise. I can write on ANI boards if preferred? Pomphorhynchus laevis
Dear Materialscientist, Thank you for keeping a close watch for vandalism and the like. Could you please have another look at the edits that I made (on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomphorhynchus_laevis). Specifically, see that in the current, reverted version, reference 2 and 6 are the same. So are 3 and 7. There are a few other of such 'mistakes' in the references. I resolved most of these and used human friendly reference names. The latter will make future edits of the page easier. Please let me know if there is anything I missed. Looking forward to hear from you. Carcharias taurus (talk) 15:22, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Edits to Open Student Television Network
The information that was on this article was not factually correct.
First, I traced down the management team of OSTN by checking: https://web.archive.org/web/20101004195545/http://www.ostn.tv:80/OSTNWebsite/OSTNhome/ManagementTeam.html
It is incorrect that Shane Walker is the only "Key People".
After talking with Paul, Anthony and Rick I confirmed that Shane Walker was not offered a merger with OSTN. This is hearsay. I was told the reality was that Shane Walker's The University Network (TUN) ran out of money. He relocated to Ohio and joined OSTN as an employee.
Chi's Sweet Home
Both of my edits to Chi's Sweet Home fixes the original Japanese names of the episodes, adding some of the original Japanese names, the transliteration of original Japanese names, as well as missing original air dates. If you need a source for the names and dates, AnimeNewsNetworkprovides citation. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please take another look at them, at least the ones made further down the list. Thank you.
Neilia Hunter
Hello Materialscientist, I note the Neilia Hunter article has been protected due to people vandalising it in the past few minutes inserting the word "retard" etc which is of course the best decision; just prior to this I had made this edit- https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Neilia_Hunter&type=revision&diff=987527843&oldid=987482657 - on the grounds that "educator" in the lead seems an unnecessary prettying-up of the fact that she was- as the linked article is titled and her own article makes clear, "a school teacher". Is there any other compelling reason for the use of "educator" over "teacher"? Online sources seem vague with regard to distinctions between the two, to say the least, with a suggestion that "educator" carries more of a sense of nobility and dedication to one's occupation than perhaps "teacher" bears. Whether this is justified in Neilia Hunter's own case I hesitate to consider, knowing nothing of her career.
- Also, I had removed a statement- "Biden later garnered controversy by making incorrect allegations that the truck’s driver, Curtis Dunn, who died in 1999, was drunk at the time" recently discussed at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Joe_Biden#Inaccurate_statements_about_first_wife%E2%80%99s_accident and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Joe_Biden/Archive_13#Deaths_of_family, where- taking into consideration the analysis here- https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/biden-lie-wife-killed-drunk-driver (Snopes being, per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Perennial_sources, "generally reliable" as a source)- the consensus appears to have been both that the element "Biden later garnered controversy" is unnecessarily loaded language that ought not to be included, and that a lack of emphasis in mainstream sources placed on the subject of the statement leads to a conclusion of WP:UNDUE. Naturally you may disagree with all of the above and (not being American, a Biden supporter [or opponent], or in any meaningful sense involved in the subject) since I don't have a horse in the race, I'm not really invested in making a huge deal out of it, but just wanted to account for the change made lest you consider it to have constituted part of the vandalism necessitating protection of the article. Vandalism in the page List of European countries by average wage
The user Giolocam (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has made his Wikipedia account just to boost up Italian data while using sources that don't match these edits or simply removing other sources. I have been editing this page over the past year and I remember some different Italian IPs/users doing the same, that's why the page got semi-protected but it seems new users are able to edit this page again. I don't know if this guy is the same person, but the only edits he has made in Wikipedia are in the same page, putting up the same unsourced boosted up numbers while deleting useful changes. Just check the history of List of European countries by average wage (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) to see what's happening there. --Pfarla (talk) 14:40, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
A Spanish has a net wage lower than an Italian. Pfarla (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is trying to vandalize setting not reliable or not official sources about Italy.I set only OECD and ISTAT sources that are the only official ones. You can check it also in the article List of countries by average wage 2018. Please stop him. People laugh reading about it. I'm bored to correct his Spanish propaganda, or vandalism as you like more. Giolocam (talk) 17:25, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
Somebody (a Spanish IP with a perfect timing with Pfarla (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) ) just some hours ago vandalized in pro Spanish way the article List of countries by average wage. Please have a look at it. It's really strange by timing. Giolocam (talk) 22:08, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
He edited in this last article. He was the Spanish IP. He even lasted in disrupting. Time to block him.Giolocam (talk) 01:09, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Giolocam: You've made your Wikipedia account just to edit the page List of European countries by average wage boosting up Italian data as you were doing priorly with other IPs before the page got semi-protected. Now I can say it's clearly you because you write in the same way and you use the same unverifiable numbers. 2A02:2F0E:117:F400:2007:2401:6477:844 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) , 2A02:2F0E:419:2100:A89B:2504:BBE:E6F4 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) , 2A02:2F0E:419:2100:E1CA:149F:250D:272A (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
- I have also deleted the edits you have done in the page List of countries by average wage (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) because you are literally removing the proper order (by official data) just to boost up Italy in a higher place, as verifiable in the edit 988093606
- The edits you do in the page List of European countries by average wage (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) don't match any of your data because both OECD and ISTAT sources show gross data, net wages can be only calculated with online "calculate your net wage" websites such as you were saying in the edits when you didn't have an account, and a 2.400 gross wage in Italy is not 2.000 net but barely above 1.700 , lets cite all 3 sources: OECD gross source ISTAT Net wage calculator
- You are now removing official data such as ISTAT and the net wage calculator just to remove my edits (which correct your fake data) saying you're "reverting my vandalism" for putting proper data. Proof, edit 988093758 I directly came to warn an administrator not because of the edit war you have made with invented data, but because your account has been made just to edit specific edits, just as proven above. It's also worth to notice that a new account came to my profile saying I'm involved in an "edit war"because I am correcting invented data that match 0 sources from a Wiki account that has only edited the same article, boosting up Italian data.
@Materi:alscientist: can you please take action? This user won't stop with his disruptive edits. --Pfarla (talk) 01:20, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
@Materialscientist: Pfarla posted not official sources by private agencies .The only valid sources are OECD and ISTAT ones. He also vandalized List of countries by average wage that i restored. The rest is his creativity derivided may be from Spanish complexes towards Italy. Sorry to write, but time to BAN HIM!Giolocam (talk) 01:28, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- After what I have proven above I guess I have nothing else to say. This user's only actions are accusation, I have warned him in his talk page and instead of replying anything, he came to mock and copypaste the same in my edit page he has also broken the Wikipedia:Three-revert rule in the page List of European countries by average wage so I guess I have to make a report because this user won't stop making his disruptive edits as he's trolling right now over this issue, just as he has proven making that copypaste in my talk page. --Pfarla (talk) 01:41, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
Pfarla reverted several times in few hours too. Time to be banned. May be he is technically better than me in using Wikipedia because i'm new one , but he sets not correct sources with wrong numbers.Giolocam (talk) 01:46, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
