vandalism

Dear Roger, you might want to go through the history of that page to understand what I literally mean, when I say 'vandalism'. Pls refer to Velupillai Prabhakaran, the talk page and the article history and also the points being made there.

While every effort is being made to ensure that the other version stays as it is, why is effort to balance this article, inspite of several edits being negated due to mass reverts? That's my whole point!! Why is a pro-Sinhala mafia thwarting every attempt to balance this article, inspite of several cited reasons behind Alred Durairaj, Child killer mentions, it always reverts back to the original Anti-Tamil, Pro-Sinhala version. I put up the vandalized tag to clearly suggest that every effort made to ensure NPOV is being negated. Any suggestions??

I've looked at some of your comments on LTTE related pages, and though I could not agree more with your overall message that there are some Pro-Sinhala and obviously biased statements in those pages, your posts in the talk pages are very emotional and border on all out flaming of that certain group. WikiProject_NCSLC

I am not sure about this. I think this kind of project would divide editors on regional lines. WikiProject Sri lanka would have been a more neutral project that would cover all kinds of topics, geography, history etc, not just focus on the ethnic conflict. Please comment on my talk page. Hi Sudharsansn, I wanted to encourage you in your efforts to start the wiki project and you work on the VP page is already making a remarkable step forward. For most current and former people from Ceylon, it is the ethnic conflict that has largely dominated their lives for the better or worse and is the prime focus of attention. A campaign of misinformation and vandalism that has been going on has to be neutralized and exposed. We have to stand for facts period. Any news source or outlet that has been unaffected by the current press censorships moves in Sri Lanka on the ground is the target of attacks and lopsided arguments here in wikipedia. I would call it Wikipedia:WikiProject_Sri_lankan_ethnic_conflict. The best would be to put it as Wikipedia:WikiProject_Sri_lanka/Ethnic conflict, as a task force/work-group. User snowolfd4 has come up with new ambiguous reasons to remove relevant content from the Tamilnet article as he did for the Vellupillai article:

The international news organizations don't say sympathetic to LTTE website. Its plain pro LTTE website. That means they support the LTTE. Plain English. Not sympathetic. Support. And stuff like

He claims David Jeyaraj's statement (with reference) is unencylopedic, so thats he decides to remove it completely. He also insists on mentioning the LTTE with the list of countries banned in detail. He also insists on saying the website supports the LTTE, which is legally vague. Material support, financial support ?? The best word as far as I see it is that it is sympathetic to the the LTTE. Cartography Department (Shortcut:WP:INMAP): The Department of Cartography within the WikiProject India is a group of wikipedians who work on providing quality maps related to India. Their contributions gain more significance as we try to provide more information on places, districts and states of India. As a thumb rule, maps serve better if they are in SVG format. The location maps by the cartography department has helped us include location information based on latitudes and longitudes for a give place within India. The Indian Roadways map is a featured image, one amongst the few best road maps in the world. Still, there is more work to be done. There are 604 districts in India (see List of districts of India), and each district page needs a map of that district. You can help too. Contact the Cartography Department to learn how you can help in making the best maps in Wikipedia to be India-related!

Insulting Image

There is also a userbox against some of us, User:Lahiru_k/UserBox/Oppose_against_LTTE which I found totally notorious. I complained to the Personal Attack Intervention Noticeboard, where they asked me to wait for a while because our friend User:Elalan has already issued Lahiru_k a warning. And with the desire for the Wikipedia not to become a host for these dirty and notorious jokes, I listed the image for deletion. Let's wait and see how it goes. If this image is kept in Wikipedia, then it is the game time for us to create its counterpats - or even better or worse! Recently, I am making some of my friends working in Japanese version of Wikipedia on the coverage of Sri Lankan crisis - it is totally biased to the extend that it says neusences like LTTE is liked with the Maoist rebels and they claim Tamil Nadu - a hard work to be done there too. Actually this image is copyright violation. Its Donkey from the movie Shrek superimposed on part of the LTTE logo. The copyright permission on this is invalid. Elalan

Please note that my existing userprofile: Sudharsansn is being vandalized by an impersonator who has created an id similar to that of mine.

1). The new impersonating vandal id that has been created is this: Snsudharsan whereas my real profile page is here: Sudharsansn.

2). Please note that this is not a coincidence as the vandal has left a comment in my remarks page making it appear as if I have edited this. He has also taken a picture from my website and posted it in my profile page which strictly confines it to vandalism and impersonation.

Kindly help urgently to prevent miscreants from vandalizing other pages using a profile name similar to that of mine. Pls help and do voice your concern in WP:AN/I and WP:PAIN and also Admin noticeboard.

Hi again! How are the Sri Lankan crisis articles going? Do provide me with a Wikilink to those I would be interested in reading about the crisis: was talking to a Sri Lankan friend the other day and thought it would be good to get an idea of the situation there. As for the Ilaiyaraaja article, I appreciate your offer to help. Help is desperately needed with this article - I've been trying to draw as much attention as I could to it. The existing one (apparently a fair use photo) is going to be deleted, and there will be no photos on this page. Perhaps you can help obtain a free use photo for it? I appreciate your concern but at the same time I would want you to read through the context completely before leaving pointless remarks on my page. A userbox titled "This user supports killing of Tamils" was created by one of you and you know who I am talking about. So in the context I said, if they do that we can make them revert it by putting up a userbox and exercising our democracy too. You did not shout out when somebody created a userbox titled "This user supports killing of Tamils" because you were by their side, so when I do that I really don't think you have moral ground to speak out against it and theat also when I give it in a contextual meaning!! If you would have spoken out like what I did on Lahiru's page, I would have appreciated your concern. However you want to speak out only when somebody is speaking out against you and your 'countrymen' so I really don't think you are even remotely WP:AGF to point out to me, when I actually meant no harm. If you want to understand what I meant, re-read the thread and you will understand that I was not acting out against the Sri Lankans, but it was a contextual statement made to point out that I can exercise my democracy too.
