2015–16 Persian Gulf Pro League (also known as Iran Pro League) is the 45th season of Iran's Football League and the 15th as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Sepahan are the defending champions. The season features 14 teams from 2014–15 Persian Gulf Pro League and two new teams promoted from 2014–15 Azadegan League: Siah Jamegan as Group A champions and Esteghlal Ahvaz as replacement for Group B champions Foolad Novin, which was ineligible for promotion since it is the second team of Foolad. The league started on 30 July 2015.
