Jilla Sabha (Nepali: जिल्ला सभा) (translation:District Assembly) is an assembly in a district of Nepal. It is a local level authority in every district of Nepal. The District Assembly elects a District Coordination Committee with a maximum of nine members including a Head, a Deputy Head, at least three women and one person from the Dalit or another minority community.[1]

A district in Nepal is divided into many municipalities and there are two types of municipality in each district, urban municipality and rural municipality (Gaunpalika). Heads of these municipalities (Mayor and Deputy mayor of each urban municipality and Chairperson and Vice-chairperson of each rural municipality) are the members of the District Assembly and they are only eligible to vote in District Assembly.
