For the musical instrument, see Sundari (instrument). For the feminine beauty motif, see Surasundari.
According to Theravada Buddhist tradition Sundari or Sundari Nanda was the half-sister of Buddha and sister of Nanda. She was the child of King Suddhodana and Buddha's aunt Maha Pajapati Gotami. She became an Arahant.[1]
