The ship caught fire whilst on a voyage from Havre de Grâce, Seine-Inférieure, France to Vera Cruz, Mexico. She put into "St. Marks", where she was consequently condemned.[74]
The ship was driven ashore on Saaremaa, Russia. She was on a voyage from Dantsic to Saint Petersburg, Russia. Lord Wenlock was refloated and taken into Saint Petersburg for repairs. She arrived on 27 May.[43]
