WESV-LD is an Estrella TV -owned and operated low-power television station that is licensed in Chicago and is owned by Estrella Media . The station is an owned-and operated station of Liberman's Spanish language Estrella TV , and transmits from Willis Tower .
Digital television History Prior to becoming an Estrella TV affiliate, this station was licensed to Palatine and it was owned by Trinity Broadcasting Network . It was used as a translator of full-power station WWTO-TV in LaSalle for Chicago's northwest suburbs before moving to Chicago proper in the digital age. Liberman bought the licence in February 2010.[1] [2]
