Boparai is a village in Bhulath Tehsil in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from Bhulath, 30 kilometres (19 mi) away from district headquarter Kapurthala. The village is administrated by a Sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and Panchayati raj (India). [2]

According to the report published by Census India in 2011,Boparai has 424 houses with the total population of 2,001 persons of which 1,021 are male and 980 females.
