2003 studio album by Stan Getz
In 1989, tenor saxophonist Stan Getz recorded a couple of sessions for A&M Records . But the results were shelved in favor of Apasionado, an orchestrated Latin jazz suite that was released in 1990. These sessions, recorded by A&M and issued for the first time on Verve Records , show Getz playing bossa nova and ballads in his later years. It also highlighted the compositions of Kenny Barron , with whom Getz worked in his final years.
