The Hong Kong Disciplined Services are made up of eight official uniformed forces subjected to disciplined regulations under the law.
Six of the regular forces report to Security Bureau:
- Hong Kong Police Force
- Hong Kong Fire Services Department
- Correctional Services Department
- Customs and Excise Department
- Immigration Department
- Government Flying Service
Two auxiliary forces also report to the Security Bureau are mainly staffed by volunteers trained in responding to emergency and operations.
Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) reports directly to the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. They are not typically uniformed and much of their work is classified. The ICAC is considered as the de facto ninth force.
