KYND (1520 AM) is an Urban Oldies and Urban Talk radio station in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. KYND is owned by Synergy Broadcasting, Inc. The station has been brokered for most of its existence. It was locally programmed with a classic hits music format after China Radio International (CRI) concluded its contractual lease agreement with Pro Broadcasting in December 2015. The station was leased in May 2016, by a local group who returned the longtime Urban Oldies and Talk programming that had previously aired on the legendary KCOH radio until 2013, and KJOZ until early 2016.

KYND operates on the same frequency with legacy "clear channel" station KOKC-AM in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; which limits KYND to broadcast only during daytime hours, which is certain AM stations were licensed prior to December 1987.[1]
