Batman (voiced by Diedrich Bader as an adult, Zachary Gordon as a child, Tara Strong as a toddler, Dee Bradley Baker as a baby) is the series' eponymous protagonist. He is a billionaire who becomes a bat-themed vigilante to avenge the deaths of his parents and battle evil.

Dick Grayson

Dick Grayson (voiced by Crawford Wilson as an adult, Jeremy Shada as a child, Lex Lang as Batman) is a former circus acrobat who Batman adopted after his parents were murdered. He initially serves as Batman's sidekick Robin before leaving him to become the independent hero Nightwing. In a hypothetical future depicted in "The Knights of Tomorrow!", Dick becomes Batman following Bruce Wayne's retirement.

Barbara Gordon

Barbara Gordon (voiced by Mae Whitman) is the second Batgirl, succeeding Bette Kane.

Jason Todd

Ace the Bat-Hound

Batwoman

Batwoman (voiced by Vanessa Marshall) is a wealthy heiress, acrobat, and thrill seeker. She previously operated as a vigilante before the Riddler exposed her secret identity.[1]

Proto-Bot

Proto-Bot (voiced by Adam West) is Batman's robotic sidekick. He is powerful, yet incompetent, and refers to himself in the third person.

Bat-Ape

Bat-Ape is a gorilla who Batman and Robin rescued from poachers. Since then, the gorilla has been helping Batman and Robin with crime in the jungle as Bat-Ape.

Damian Wayne

Damian Wayne (voiced by Patrick Cavanaugh) is the son of Batman and Catwoman, who becomes Batman following their deaths.

Alternate Batmen

The Batman of Zur-En-Arrh (voiced by Kevin Conroy) is a superhero from the planet Zur-En-Arrh and Batman's counterpart.

Bat-Mite

Bat-Mite (voiced by Paul Reubens) is a reality-warping imp and a fan of Batman.

Batmen of All Nations

The Batmen of All Nations are a group of international superheroes inspired by Batman. They consist of:

  • El Gaucho (voiced by Jeff Bennett) – a millionaire playboy from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Besides being an expert motorcyclist and horse rider, he is an expert at using bolos.
  • KnightShining Knight's former squire and successor.
  • Legionnaire (voiced by John DiMaggio) – an Italian knight.
  • Musketeer (voiced by Diedrich Bader) – a rapier-wielding hero and defender of Paris, France.
  • Ranger – a bush ranger-based hero from Australia uses trick boomerangs to fight crime.
  • Wingman – a hero of American and Swedish descent who was trained by Batman. He uses his cape to glide to give the illusion of flight.
  • An unidentified South African Batman.

Batmen Throughout Time

The Batman Throughout Time (all voiced by Diedrich Bader) are variants of Batman from throughout the timeline. They consist of the caveman Cave-Batman, the pirate Pirate-Batman, the Ancient Roman Batmanicus, and the robot Robot Batman.

Black Canary

Black Canary (voiced by Grey DeLisle) is a skilled martial artist who possesses a sonic scream. Her mother, the first Black Canary, was killed in action and entrusted the Justice Society with caring for her.

Black Orchid

Black Orchid is a silent vigilante with a plant motif.

Blue Beetle

Blue Beetle is the name of several heroes who wield alien scarabs created by the Reach.

Dan Garrett

Dan Garrett was an archaelogist who discovered the Scarab in a pyramid and used it to become a superhero. He was later killed in battle.

Ted Kord

Ted Kord (voiced by Wil Wheaton) is a scientist who obtained the Scarab following Dan Garrett's death. He was unable to activate the Scarab and instead used his own technology to become a hero before being killed in battle with his uncle Jarvis.

Jaime Reyes

Jaime Reyes (voiced by Will Friedle) is the third Blue Beetle, who obtains the Scarab following Ted Kord's death. The Scarab is attached to his back and can generate multi-purpose armor and weapons.

Booster Gold

Booster Gold (voiced by Tom Everett Scott) is a museum security guard from 400 years in the future who travels to the present to become a hero in search of fame.

Skeets

Skeets (voiced by Billy West) is a drone-like robot and Booster Gold's companion.

Bronze Tiger

Bronze Tiger (voiced by Gary Anthony Sturgis) is a martial artist and former student of Wong Fei who takes over his temple following his death.

B'wana Beast

B'wana Beast (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) is an African-themed hero who can communicate with and fuse animals using his helmet. He sacrifices himself to destroy Starro, but returns to attend the series' wrap party.

Captain Atom

Captain Atom (voiced by Brian Bloom) is an arrogant nuclear-powered hero and former Air Force captain.

Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel (voiced by Tara Strong as Billy Batson, Jeff Bennett as Captain Marvel) is an orphan boy and the champion of the wizard Shazam who can transform into an adult hero by using the wizard's name, which doubles as a magic incantation.

Mary Marvel

Mary Marvel (voiced by Tara Strong) is Billy Batson's sister. They were separated as children before Batman reunites them in the present.

Captain Marvel Jr.

Captain Marvel Jr. (voiced by John DeVito) is a crippled newsboy and friend of Captain Marvel, who lends him his powers.

Challengers of the Unknown

The Challengers of the Unknown are a group of adventurers who are "living on borrowed time". They consist of "Prof" Haley (voiced by Armin Shimerman), "Ace" Morgan (voiced by J. K. Simmons), "Red" Ryan (voiced by Ioan Gruffudd), and "Rocky" Davis (voiced by James Arnold Taylor).

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a bounty hunter in the Wild West and an ally of Jonah Hex.

Creature Commandos

The Creature Commandos are a group of monster soldiers. They consist of the human Matthew Shrieve (voiced by Marc Worden), the Gorgon Myrrha Rhodes (voiced by Cathy Cavadini), the Frankenstein-like Lucky Taylor, the vampire Vincent Velcro, and the werewolf Warren Griffith (all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker).

Creeper

The Creeper (voiced by Brian Bloom) is the insane alter-ego of talk show host Jack Ryder who operates in Gotham City.

Deadman

Deadman (voiced by Michael Rosenbaum) is a former circus performer who was murdered during an act. His ghost remains on Earth to do good.

Detective Chimp

Detective Chimp (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) is an intelligent chimpanzee and Sherlock Holmes–type investigator.[2]

Doctor Fate (voiced by Greg Ellis) is a sorcerer whose magic is derived from the Helmet of Fate.

Doom Patrol

The Doom Patrol are a group of heroes with unusual abilities that they view as a curse.

The Chief

The Chief (voiced by Richard McGonagle) is the leader of the Doom Patrol. He is paraplegic and wields an advanced hover chair equipped with various weapons.

Robotman

Robotman (voiced by Henry Rollins) is a member of the Doom Patrol who is an organic brain contained in a robot body.

Elasti-Girl

Elasti-Girl (voiced by Olivia d'Abo) is a member of the Doom Patrol who possesses an elastic body and can alter her size.

Negative Man

Negative Man (voiced by David K. Hill) is a member of the Doom Patrol who can release a negative energy being from his body.

Elongated Man

Elongated Man (voiced by Sean Donnellan) is a detective and rival of Plastic Man who possesses similar abilities to him.

Enemy Ace

Etrigan

Etrigan (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) is an immortal demon and former servant of Merlin, who bound him to the human Jason Blood. The two share a body and can switch places via a magic incantation.

Fire

Fire (voiced by Grey DeLisle) is a Brazilian heroine who can generate mystical green fire.

Firestorm

Firestorm is a composite superhero composed of Jason Rusch (voiced by Tyler James Williams) and Ronnie Raymond (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke). The two are respectively a science teacher and student and are connected to the Firestorm matrix following a nuclear explosion caused by Doctor Double X. Jason is the matrix's primary host, with Ronnie acting as an incorporeal mentor who only he can perceive.[2]

Flash

The Flash is the name of several heroes who possess superhuman speed: Jay Garrick (voiced by Andy Milder), Barry Allen (voiced by Alan Tudyk), and the latter's sidekick Kid Flash (voiced by Hunter Parrish).

Freedom Fighters

The Freedom Fighters are an All-American crime fighting team of superheroes.

Uncle Sam

Uncle Sam (voiced by Peter Renaday) is the leader of the Freedom Fighters. He derives his power from patriotism and can pass it to others.

Black Condor

Doll Man

The Justice League are a superhero team and the successor of the Justice Society of America. It consists of Aquaman, Batman, Black Canary, Fire, The Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Martian Manhunter, Red Tornado, Plastic Man, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Aqualad, Robin and Speedy are junior members.

Justice League International

Justice League International is a superhero team formed to combat Darkseid's invasion of Earth. It consists of Batman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Booster Gold, Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes), Fire, and Ice.

The Justice Society is a group of superheroes that existed since the Golden Age. They are the first group of superheroes to be formed and it is revealed that they tutored Batman during his early superhero days.

Alan Scott

Alan Scott (voiced by Corey Burton) is the first hero known as Green Lantern. He uses a mystic weapon called the Starheart that is similar to a power ring, but ineffective against wood.

Doctor Mid-Nite

Doctor Mid-Nite (voiced by Corey Burton) is a blind doctor turned superhero who wears special visors to help him see.

Hawkman

Hawkman (voiced by William Katt) is a bird-themed member of the Justice Society who wields an Nth Metal belt and mace.

Hourman

Hourman (voiced by Lex Lang) is a member of the Justice Society who uses an hourglass-shaped device to increase his strength for one hour.

Mister Terrific

Sandman

Vilsi Vaylar (voiced by Dana Delany) is a reporter at the Solar Cycle Globe on Zur-En-Arrh. She is based on Vicki Vale and Lois Lane.
