This is a list of earthquakes in 1941. Only magnitude 6.0 or greater earthquakes appear on the list. Lower magnitude events are included if they have caused death, injury or damage. All dates are listed according to UTC time. With 1,200 lives lost, Saudi Arabia experienced the heaviest death toll on January 11. Other deadly quakes occurred in Iran, Turkey, Taiwan, Burma, and China. There were 20 magnitude 7.0+ events altogether. The largest event was in the north Atlantic Ocean at the Azores–Gibraltar Transform Fault in November with a magnitude 8.1. Other large events struck India, Japan, and Mexico to name a few. Australia saw a couple of unusually large quakes this year.

- A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck the southern Molucca Sea, Indonesia on June 18 at a depth of 35.0 km. This was an aftershock of the earlier event.[67]
- A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck Fiji on June 21 at a depth of 580.0 km.[68]
- A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck West Sulawesi, Indonesia on June 23 at a depth of 35.0 km.[69]
- A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck the Andaman Islands, India on June 26 at a depth of 49.1 km. A tsunami was generated in the area. At least one person was killed, at least one more was injured, and massive property damage was caused. Many homes were destroyed or in need of repair. Due to the southeast of Asia being ravaged by war the true human cost was not reported. Some reports suggest as many as 7,000 may have died.[70][71][72]
