Ljubiša “Mauzer” Savić (Serbian: Љубиша Маузер Савић; 11 August 1958 – 7 June 2000) was a Bosnian Serb war-time paramilitary commander and post-war politician.[1] He led the "Panteri" battalion (made famous by songs written by Roki Vulović) during the Bosnian Civil War of 1992-1996. His actions in the war included the annexation of Bijeljina to the Serbian Republic as well as destruction of over a hundred years old mosques in Bijeljina and extortion and robbery of Bosniaks in Bijeljina.
After the war, he became a chief-of-police in Bijeljina. He was killed in Bijeljina in 2000, due to suspected Gang violence in the city.
