Mycobacterium doricum is a species of the phylum actinobacteria (Gram-positive bacteria with high guanine and cytosine content, one of the dominant phyla of all bacteria), belonging to the genus mycobacterium.

It is a scotochromogenic Mycobacterium.[1]
