The Star Trek universe depicts a mainly secular human society that pays less attention to religion. However, many non-human species in Star Trek such as the Vulcans and Klingons still follow a number of religions and spiritualities. Some episodes also depict humans practicing their Earth religions such as Christianity.[1]

Aside from traditional religions alongside alien religions and spiritualities, Star Trek is more commonly accredited for its philosophical themes.[2][3]
