Ramnagar is a city and a notified area in Pashchim Champaran district in the Indian state of Bihar.Ramnagar is situated on the border of India-Nepal and Bihar - Uttar pradesh.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Ramnagar had a population of 38,549. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Ramnagar has an average literacy rate of 48%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 57%, and female literacy is 38%. In Ramnagar, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
