Shenzhen American International School

Shenzhen American International School (SAIS, simplified Chinese: 深圳深美国际学校; traditional Chinese: 深圳深美國際學校; pinyin: Shēnzhèn Shēnměi Guójì Xuéxiào) is an American international school in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

It is a PreK-8 school and this will expand to the 9th grade in the fall of 2015.[1]

Initially a China campus of Lee Academy of Maine,[2] it was approved by the Ministry of Education of China in 2005. Due to issues regarding land, by 2008 it had not yet been built.[3]

It was originally in Nanshan District.[4] The school opened in its current Shekou location in January 2014.[5]
