Shwetaungtet (Template:Lang-my, pronounced [ʃwè dàuɴ tɛʔ]; 1312 – 1340) was the third king of Sagaing Kingdom, who reigned from 1336 to 1340. He seized the Sagaing throne by arresting his father King Tarabya I. Three years later, he was killed by Chief Minister Nandapangyan who wanted to place Kyaswa, the middle son of Sawyun, the founder of the kingdom, on the throne. After his death, his father the captive king was also killed by Nandapangyan.[1]
