The Spanish Pyrenees region is the portion of the Pyrenees mountain range within Spain.

The mountain's dominions stretch for 450 kilometres (280 mi) from the Cantabrian Sea (Bay of Biscay) to the Mediterranean Sea.[1]

The Provinces of Spain, from east to west in the region, are:

  1. Girona (province),
  2. Barcelona (province),
  3. Lleida (province),
  4. Huesca (province),
  5. Zaragoza (province),
  6. Navarra,
  7. Guipúzcoa.

The Pyrenees mountains in western Spain are known as where vascos or the basque originate in Spain. This region starts at the beach known as San Sebastian.
