Tabontabon is a fifth class municipality in the province of Leyte, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 11,204 people.[3]

In 1957, the barrios of Capahu-an and Guingawan were transferred from the town of Dagami to Tabontabon.[4]
