Dillon Francis discography

[edit]

Support split - Discography section takes up more than one third of the article and should be split to a new article entitled Dillon Francis discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 18:59, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Split only when the article is too big. Currently the content of the main article is not big enough to warrant a split. Hzh (talk) 22:01, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Precisely. The discography page is not disproportionately large in relation to the rest of the article. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 00:10, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove all instances of "internet celebrity" from this page. Dillon is a musician, not an internet celebrity (no substantial Internet prescience beyond what his artistic career has provided). Thank you. Copyrightcollin (talk) 00:34, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copyrightcollin, he is an internet celebrity though. He's known for his comedies with Getter and Nick Colletti. - TheMagnificentist (talk) 00:40, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done - agree with TheMagnificentist - Arjayay (talk) 11:29, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request the removal of the term 'Internet Celebrity' on Dillon Francis' Wikipedia page, Dillion is most well known as a DJ and Record Producer and the term 'Internet Celebrity' discounts this fact. Johnmtheory (talk) 19:23, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Already done Looks like you made the change. -- Dane2007 talk 19:37, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Update biography and career

[edit]

Biography and career sections should include information obtained through this biography. This work could also include reformatting "Career" section to match similar artists such as Diplo and Skrillex. 2601:547:D00:3FC0:B0CE:1C49:94C4:2041 (talk) 23:04, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Let's not put too much emphasis on Francis pioneering moombahton in 2010, when it was Nada in 2009 who did so. Binksternet (talk) 23:15, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My edits didn't claim pioneering or inventing, but rather popularizing in the U.S. (specifically within Clubs/venues near Los Angeles).
I suggest a re-work or edit rather than explicit removal since the edits added important context in the Lead section (where most users are going to read). 2601:547:D00:3FC0:B9AC:2344:255A:ACCF (talk) 00:23, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I reworked even more. Binksternet (talk) 03:25, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
