Infobox - Ethnicity[edit]

Can I ask why the infobox for Fiona Bruce has been editied to include "ethnicity". As well as starting a frankly quite pathetic and deeply childish series of edit wars as verious people seek to re-classify her in one way or another, why on earth should her ethnic backgound matter? I notice that the infobox for Jeremy Paxman does not specify he is "English", and the one for Sir Trevor McDonald doesn't give his ethnicity as "Black". Do we now have to re-edit every single person on Wikiepdia that has an infobox accordingly, and seeing the controversy here, who exactly will decide which little "ethnic" box people are classified into? Photograph[edit]

Is there not a better royalty-free photograph of Fiona available anywhere? It might be better to have no photo at all than a distance shot of the side of her head. Mixsynth (talk) 16:08, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

I concur, we need some more images, preferably the more sexually suggestive the better.--81.141.113.74 (talk) 18:00, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
The current photograph is the most ridiculous thing I've seen on Wikipedia. I was going to remove it, but it's so stupid it's worth leaving as a monument to sillyness Vexorg (talk) 05:30, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
I've removed it as it seemed to serve no useful purpose. Qwfp (talk) 12:28, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Port Sunlight[edit]

Think I saw Fiona Bruce on the Antiques Roadshow at Port Sunlight (recently) saying she went to school there. It would need a source before adding it to the article. EdwardLane (talk) 10:33, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

French & Italian fluency claim parked[edit]

I can't confirm the claim...

In a programme she presented for the BBC on Leonardo Da Vinci on 30 October 2011 she demonstrated that she was comfortable interviewing both French and Italian art experts in their own languages.<ref>{{cite web | title=Da Vinci: The Lost Treasure | date=October 2011 | producers & directors=Julian Birkett & Roger Parsons | writer & presenter=Fiona Bruce | work=Da Vinci: The Lost Treasure | studio=BBC Productions | year=2011 | access date=TV program first aired 30 October 2011 on BBC One | url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b016xjq6 | time stamp=Fiona Bruce is speaking Italian at approximately 36 minutes into the program when speaking with Pinin Brambilla Barcelon, the restorer of Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper and speaking French at approximately 48 minutes into the program when discussing the Mona Lisa with Vincent Deleuvin, curator at The Louvre.}}</ref>

...that was added a couple of years ago by Browne-Windsor (talk · contribs) (diff) and then sourced (diff) by Verogall (talk · contribs). So I've removed it from the article pending checking. If anyone would like to confirm it and restore the text please note that some of Verogall's citation parameters need to be changed to prevent error messages in the reference section. - Pointillist (talk) 22:58, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Blue Hair[edit]

She had blue hair for one week. So what?--Jack Upland (talk) 09:08, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
