The result of the move request was: Moved to List of Persian saints. I won't call this a strong consensus as this alternative was proposed rather late in the discussion, but as it was explicitly or tacitly supported by several editors and is WP:CONSISTENT with Category:Lists of saints by place. List of Persian Roman Catholic saintsList of Persian Catholic saints – The sole remaining (unexplaind) exception from the consistent "List of Catholic" formula across Wikipedia for list of individuals pertaining the the Catholic Church (c.f. adjective Catholic). Thus advocate moving per WP:CONSISTENCY with List of Canadian Catholic saints, List of Catholic saints, List of Catholics, List of former Catholics, but also Catholic Church in Iran, etc. Chicbyaccident (talk) 14:02, 8 August 2018 (UTC)--Relisting. That risk of confusion seems at best speculative. Let me call you out on it. As for WP:CONSISTENCY, it cis meant to be onsistent "with the pattern of similar articles' titles", not categories as in your reference. Chicbyaccident (talk) 19:22, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe it was a reference to articles in the category. At a glance I notice List of Canadian Roman Catholic saints. Dekimasuよ! 19:24, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There may be an inconcistency there, yes. If anyone wants to make multiple requests for consistency reasons in one way or the other, sure. That said, preexisting formula in List of Catholic saints - with article name formula seemingly longstanding since 2006 - should arguably weight in quite heavily. • Oppose per what he said (and more than just Persian). Mannanan51 (talk) 04:00, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Consistency with Catholic Church. The Catholic vs Roman Catholic issue has been discussed repeatedly on that article's talk page. Nine Zulu queens (talk) 01:56, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Not many of these saints were actually Catholic. Instead, this is a list of Persian Christians recognised as saints by the Catholic church. StAnselm (talk) 19:02, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's nothing special with this list, but concerns also List of Catholic saints, etc. However, I interpretate it as you wish a rename to List of Persian saints. I would support that alternative as a secondary best. Chicbyaccident (talk) 20:42, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, support List of Persian saints. StAnselm (talk) 05:30, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
