International career

[edit]

Someone keeps adding that Rolle is a member of the Bahamas national basketball team. Does anyone have a source for this? ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 19:16, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]

The lead is too long and includes far too many extraneous points. Is the fact that he was the first in his family to graduate from college one of the "most important aspects" as WP:LEAD tells us to include? We do not need to include a summary of each year of his playing career. Rolle's lead looks to be roughly twice as long as the lead in Larry Bird. I tried to make it more concise (while keeping the more important points) but was reverted.--TM 02:44, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:LEAD closer. The lead is right about the length it should be, about 3 paragraphs. Maybe the college thing is a bit much; you could probably remove that. However, Larry Bird's lead is too short and is not a good model. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 02:50, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Shortened, but I still do not think a season by season recap is needed for an overall marginal player in both college and pro basketball. His time at LSU and Louisiana Tech could be shortened to 2 sentences, one about his two seasons at LSU and one about his time at Tech.--TM 03:03, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I assume you mean the lead, not the overall body. His college achievements are the focal point of his career at the moment; soon, that will be his professional achievements and the lead should reflect this. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 00:48, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
