Holy Key, the latest single on DJ Khaled's Major Key album released July 22nd, 2016 was produced by Edsclusive and not Cool & Dre. Edsclusive produced the song All The Way Up by Fat Joe, Remy Ma and French Montana as well as others with well known artists in the music business. You can see Cool & Dre's Instragram post 4 days ago where they reference Edsclusive as the producer as well as many posts on social platforms giving Edsclusive his credit. Please advise on both the tracklisting and small box on the right of the window. Thank you

Production on "Holy Key" was by DJ Khaled and Cool & Dre. Edsclusive is not a producer

The result of the move request was: No move. Consensus is that Key (music) is the WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT of Major Key. Cúchullain t/c 13:20, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
Major Key (album) → Major Key – I'm pretty sure the words "major key" would refer to the album today more than a major scale. – Billboard Man (talk) 12:46, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Billboard Man and Sam Sailor: This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:05, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. Major key (Major Key) is a long-established term in Western music, cf. this Ngram. Sam Sailor Talk! 19:40, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose - WP:DIFFCAPS isn't strong enough to save this one. Red Slash 16:54, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Are you sure "Nas Album Done" isn't a single? There is a video for it. Or is it a promotional single?--204.14.188.246 (talk) 13:15, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
- I think it just got a video to promote the upcoming Nas album. Foxnpichu (talk) 12:09, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
Metacritic
[edit]@Therealjuice215: You have repeatedly changed the text regarding Metacritic from the accurate "generally favorable reviews" to the false "generally mixed reviews" and when I've corrected you, you have used the boilerplate edit summary "fixed typo" even though that's also dishonest. The text on Metacritic's page gives this album a Metascore of 66 and it plainly uses the phrase "generally favorable reviews". You also haven't explained your incorrect capitalization of the second word in that section's header. You also haven't explained why you're ignoring the Manual of Style by bolding and italicizing the album's title at the beginning of that section. I've asked before but I'll try again: why are you doing all of this? RunnyAmiga ※ talk 17:16, 22 September 2016 (UTC)

Major Key (album) → Major Key – The title in titlecase should represent the album, and lowercase for the music term per WP:Capitalization. Tree Critter (talk) 03:50, 29 June 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 17:23, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- WP:DIFFCAPS is an extremely controversial policy; every RM around it that I've seen attracts huge amounts of participants that either ignore it or rebel against it. It has been the source of much animosity on WT:AT for years. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 07:35, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- Oh then we can definitely move it to contested or to the targets talkpage. I just think its silly to keep a parenthetical when its not necessary. Tree Critter (talk) 14:42, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

- Support – seems like a reasonable application of WP:DIFFCAPS, and hatnotes are already in place to prevent any confusion. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 20:16, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose likely to confuse. And (album) likely to help. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:16, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose, way way way too small a topic for WP:DIFFCAPS to apply to Red Slash 16:07, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose, keeping the parenthetical eliminates any possible confusion here. 162 etc. (talk) 23:49, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- Disambiguate Key (music) has 4,817 views compared with 1,981[[1]] for the album so it seems sensible to disambiguate the title case version. Crouch, Swale (talk) 07:32, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- Also, the album article has been trending downwards since 2016 and probably will continue to do so. — BarrelProof (talk) 15:19, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Virtually no one is using the capitalized "Major Key" as a redirect,[2] so there's no reason an article actually titled "Major Key" shouldn't be able to use it. Station1 (talk) 18:32, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. Far too ambiguous. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:51, 13 July 2022 (UTC)
