Violation?

[edit]

What's with this statement?

And he has an amazing daughter who is an amazing person.

That may be true, but how does it assist this article?

Birthplace

[edit]

The Infobox was listing Mr. Murphy's birthplace as Fulton, New York, while the body of the article states it's Williamsville, New York. Googling turns up results for both. I changed the Infobox to read Williamsville. If anyone has definite information to the contrary, please change both links to either Fulton, Oswego County, New York or Fulton, Schoharie County, New York as appropriate. A further note: Mark Murphy (singer) was born in Fulton, Oswego County, New York. Perhaps this is what caused the confusion. Nick Number (talk) 14:06, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get to this shortly--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 12:37, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Images properly licensed
  • Link quarterback, kick-off, fumble, interception, video boards, divisional playoffs
 Done. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:20, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I see no references to work with churches in ref #1
 Done, fixed the reference. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:20, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • The external links field should not only contain a Commons link. Delete the section and move the Commons link into the References section.
Not done my understanding of the template documentation for {{Commons category}} and {{Commons category-inline}} shows that using the template this way is perfectly appropriate. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:20, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I sit corrected as I forgot that the inline format is an exception.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:48, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sturmvogel 66, I have addressed your comments (diff) or responded above. Thanks for the review. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:20, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.
Overall: Both articles appear to meet all the criteria. Hook is interesting (even more weird is that the one who played for the Redskins went on to be a noted executive with the Packers!) and verified. Looks good to go! BeanieFan11 (talk) 13:59, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
