    • The article was moved to mainspace on 29 January 2023 - thus new enough.
    • The article is just long enough (slightly more than 1,500 characters of readable prose).
    • The article seems free of copyvios. Earwig picks up just a bit of close paraphrasing, but nothing critical in my view.
    • The article is acceptably sourced.
    • QPQ is not necessary (5 DYK-credit rule).
    • The original hook is interesting and I prefer it, because the ALT1-hook seems not terribly-well sourced. However, I am unsure about one issue: It is not clear to me what the name of the dog is. Is it really "Pulaski's Masterpiece" or simply "Masterpiece" as the source seems to imply. If the name is only "Masterpiece" the article should probably be moved to "Masterpiece (dog)" and the hook changed accordingly.

He was registered as Pulaski's Masterpiece, but often called Masterpiece; I put it under the full name like we would for a human. Rusalkii (talk) 22:00, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
