new editor
[edit]repaired a .com link to a .info link (the .com address was simply a glorified search page and not the accurate page with his statistics. I also added another external link to legends of NASCAR. Hope this is appropriate for a first edit other than my user page. I am still reading through thousands of articles, "talk" pages, and policy pages attempting to gather a good feel for what and where I should edit without stepping on toes. I hope a short stub that deserves to be expanded would be the best place to start without getting my fingers slapped. ;) Kind Regards to all Ched Davis (talk) 18:59, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

DYK: March 20, 2009
[edit]This article made DYK on March 20, 2009: Thanks to D-Day for creating the article, and thanks to user 69.85.208.133 for actually contributing constructively to the article. Thanks to Royalboil for the help and guidance in article improvements. Article can still use expansion in the personal life section, and various years of competition. — Ched ~ (yes?)/© 16:26, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Small change to one sentence
[edit]I was going to remove an extra comma from the sentence "Rex White was the smallest man, to ever capture the NASCAR championship, standing only 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 135 pounds." (comma between "smallest man" and "to ever capture". After reading the sentence a few times it just didn't seem to flow right to me so I did a slight re-write. Feel free to revert if anyone thinks it reads better the old way.Wolfhound668 (talk) 16:57, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Much better - Thank you! ;) — Ched ~ (yes?)/© 16:59, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Income in today's US dollars
[edit]In the stats table, information on what his income in today's US dollars would be has been added. I think this is a "What If" kind of thing, comes close to WP:CRYSTAL and doesn't belong - I'm open to other's opinions though. — Ched ~ (yes?)/© 17:02, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- I strongly disagree. Things need to be stated in whatever money happened at that time. Anything else is speculation and original research. Royalbroil 05:10, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
