wtf? if lockheed rescued him in 1999, how the hell does she know the birthday? (November 15th) or is it that she wants more money? to make the crowd fell sorry.

Good question. A vet can usually tell you how old a rescue dog is, but not its actual birthday as far as I know. Probably she rescued him around November 15 and adopted that as his 'birthday'. --Stevefarrell 00:31, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Or perhaps the person who previously owned him provided that information to the shelter or agency who made him available for adoption. It is not uncommon. I work with a few rescue groups who take in dogs of recently deceased AIDS patients. We usually have everything including puppy pictures in such cases. Most public agencies who except voluntarily surrendered animals will ask for a birth date along with medical history. It's not inconceivable that she knew his exact birthdate.Lisapollison 18:34, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture?

[edit]

Surely this article would be clarified with a picture — most people know Sam by his face, not his name. Surely the Sonoma-Marin fair wouldn't mind donating an image. Azrael# 18:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
