Shi De YangShi Yongxin – Shi Yongxin seems to be most used in English language sources. Eg news reports with the article's name show less than 3 pages, 25 hits, not all in English.[1] Using the suggested name we get over 45,000 (a number unrealistically large, but there's a substantial difference in any case).[2] This is a particular problem because this abbot has had considerable media publicity under the suggested name, partially due to his attempt to use the name of his famous abby to promote the Buddhist way of life, eg[3][4] and [5], which has led him to be dubbed the "CEO monk", and partially because of recent scandals.[6] [7] [8] Doug Weller (talk) 13:51, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, what? You want to move Shi De Yang to Shi Yongxin? Those are different people! And there's already an existing article at Shi Yongxin! Unless you explain why you think this move makes any sense, I have to oppose this proposal. --Bigpeteb (talk) 14:42, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Damn. So do I. I was working off a newspaper article which calls Shi De Yang the temple's grandmaster, which is obviously incorrect. I see that the Abbot's article has been heavily trimmed to remove criticism.[9] What do you think about that? Doug Weller (talk) 15:15, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
