Women in Red (WiR) and Care International are celebrating Women's History Month and International Women's Day with editathons with extensive support for new contributors creating their first articles about women. Wikimedia UK are helping us organise four introductions to creating articles about notable women. These are held on four Wikipedia Wednesdays in March.

By means of simply presented exercises in the basic features of Wikipedia editing, we hope to see newcomers embark on their first creative assignments. Those of you who have not yet tried your hand at beginning new articles will be guided on the road to success.
