    • Reason: No station with this call sign ever made it to air; it has been a longtime redirect to WFTS-TV, the eventual station using the allocation (channel 28 in Tampa, Florida) this would-be station was to have used, but it might be for the best if this is deleted outright, not just because of the relatively-tenuous connection to WFTS, but because in recent months this has been persistently converted into an unsourced article seemingly split from WFTS-TV (and by IPs in a loophole around the usual autoconfirmed account requirement for article creation — another reason why, at least without protection, a redirect should not return). It is very rare for an unbuilt television station to meet the general notability guideline; I certainly don't see anything to suggest that WTSS-TV does. The most recent reversion to a redirect suggested either PROD or AfD if converted back to an article; a PROD would probably be inevitably contested, so here we are.

    • Reason: While WFSB is probably by far the largest station to title its newscasts as "Channel 3 Eyewitness News", this is also the branding for the newscasts on WRCB, so there is some potential ambiguity. (On top of that, KIDK also used this title in relatively recent times when it still aired local newscasts; even now, a subchannel of KIFI-TV is branded as the similar "Eyewitness News 3".)

    • Reason: While KPIX-TV is probably the largest station to have titled its newscasts anything like this (albeit as "Channel 5 Eyewitness News"), this could just as easily refer to KSTP-TV, which has also branded its news as "Channel 5 Eyewitness News" in the past, and even now is still "5 Eyewitness News" (whereas KPIX has not used the Eyewitness News name in any form in nearly a decade). There have been other stations on channel 5 that have used the "Eyewitness News" name in the past as well, so there's some possible ambiguity, but it's worth noting that Google searches for anything close to this term are dominated by KSTP-TV, not KPIX-TV.

    • Reason: KTRK-TV has also in the past called its newscasts "Channel 13 Eyewitness News" (and even now still calls them "ABC 13 Eyewitness News"), so there is some ambiguity. Google searches for most variations of this title are dominated by KTRK, even when "ABC" (which wouldn't apply to the NBC-affiliated WTHR) isn't included.

    • Reason: There's no connection whatsoever between any incarnation of Playhouse Disney (much less the Asia version) and a CBS station in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. It did start out as a redirect to the more-logical Disney Junior (Asian TV channel) (since moved to Disney Junior (Southeast Asian TV channel)), only for the creator to change the redirect to KTVT — but despite being in the draft namespace, it's never been anything but a redirect (there is no non-redirect history).

    • Reason: This exact branding has never been used by KSTP-TV (it's actually "5 Eyewitness News"). At least three other stations have used this exact title (KOCO-TV, WLWT, and WTVH; none of those do so currently); there is always the risk of ambiguity with other channel 5 stations that have used the Eyewitness News name as well.

    • Reason: To the best of my knowledge, this is not an FCC-licensed station, and there's no coverage in reliable sources to verify its existence, much less meet the GNG. (And if the article is to be believed, "WKUI" doesn't even sign on until November 1 — for quite a few years now, we've been trying to move away from having premature articles on unlaunched stations even when there is verifiable evidence of at least a construction permit.) Unsurprisingly for this topic area, an earlier PROD nomination was contested by the creator.

    • Reason: This station has never had the WPHR call sign. The edit summary of the creation of this redirect admitted that it was speculatively created in the event that the call sign might eventually change (its programming was previously heard on a station called WPHR-FM), but Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, and 11 years later the station is still WHEN (and the current WPHR-FM in Florida isn't even under any common ownership or operation these days).

    • Reason: While "UNIHD" was how this network (as Universal HD) was at one time referred to in at least some television listings, other listings use that label in association with the HD feed of Univision. There is possible ambiguity, and I'm not sure the current target is the most appropriate one at this point.

    • Reason: The target page was moved to this title "because the network will shut down" — but I don't see why that would necessitate moving the article. The redirect itself does not seem useful — the more logical target for an NBC Olympics redirect is NBC Olympic broadcasts (and NBC Olympics indeed redirects there), but the period seems unlikely to be included in any searches.

    • Reason: Nearly all the sources are CRTC decisions regarding this tourist information station, and I think the one that clearly isn't is an (unlinked) forum posting — I cannot imagine that any of that is enough to meet the GNG. It would not surprise me if the reason this article is titled at a deprecated disambiguator is because CIIO-FM has been salted since 2017, after several recreations following an earlier AfD on what I'm pretty sure is this station and several similar, related stations — and there seems to be some evidence that this is indeed a recreation of the earlier article, which could easily tip this over into G4 territory.

    • Reason: Ambiguous title — this redirect seems to exist because the first station to broadcast from the school that owns KTEQ-FM had the WCAT call sign (even though there was a 20-year gap between that station's demise and the start of the first incarnation of KTEQ). However, a WCAT (AM) operated in Vermont until this past week, and the Massachusetts station now known as WPVQ (AM) long had the WCAT call sign for most of its first 50 years. If I had run into this before the Vermont station shut down I might have simply boldly redirected, but it's a bit of a stickier situation now.

    • Reason: Tagged as unsourced since 2015, this is a station that was never actually authorized to sign on despite filing for a license application (one day before its 2009 expiration) because the application was incomplete. (The FCC actually said, "WFBT has never commenced operation.") It's very hard to imagine there being enough out there to allow this never-was station to meet the GNG; this article on a court ruling against it probably won't be enough.

    • Reason: This seems to be a typo for WMBL (FM) (which also redirects to Moody Radio and is mentioned in a table in the article), but improbable enough that it gets virtually no page views. (No US radio station has a five-letter call sign, excluding stations with a three letter base call sign with an "-FM" suffix.)

    • Reason: Despite the relatively high pageviews, this does not seem like a redirect that brings anyone to the content they may be expecting, which would be a list like 2022 in radio — but the only attempts at "starting" that have so far been disruptively replacing the redirect with a nearly-blank list with no actual serious attempt to add any content. (Most of this has been by IPs, who would be automatically barred by doing this if this were to revert to a redlink.)
  2. WOWY (AM): nominated at RfD; Target: WOWY (FM) (notified); notified Camthecat10 (talk · contribs) 16:48, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Obviously WOWY is an FM, not AM, radio station. As best as I can tell, no AM station (at least in the last ~40 years) has used this call sign (only three FM stations).

    • Reason: It seems hard to imagine the owner of a group of stations in a single small market could possibly meet the GNG. (Not helping matters is that much of the content is the schedules for its stations, which are against policy.) A malformed AfD nomination by an IP in 2014, saying The page is a business advertisement, was reverted without follow-up; the same IP nominated it for CSD for a similar reason two days earlier, which was declined.
  2. Cayuga Radio Group: nominated at RfD; Target: Ithaca, New York (notified); notified Futurewiki (talk · contribs) 00:34, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is the name of a grouping of radio stations in this city, but even though it is mentioned in the target, I'm still not convinced this is the best target. (If we still had an article on parent company Saga Communications — and we have not for years now, having been deleted for notability reasons — that would be a better target, and redirecting to only one of their stations isn't ideal either.)

    • Reason: I'm not even sure ranges can even have talk pages (and MediaWiki seems to treat them more as subpages of any theoretical talk page for the IP before the slash), much less one where the only message is an unsigned "d". (This probably should qualify for speedy deletion, but figuring out what criterion a user talk page can fall under seems more of a challenge than in other namespaces.)
  4. CNZ Communications: nominated at RfD; Target: KOFY-TV (notified); notified Jrnnf749nrn (talk · contribs) 03:34, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: While KOFY-TV is owned by CNZ Communications (and this is mentioned in the article), it is not the company's only station (it's not even their only San Francisco station). The group does not appear to have a clear "flagship" station, so a redirect to any of their stations might seem misleading.

    • Reason: Is the outline of the woman enough to actually be above the threshold of originality? If so, we don't usually allow non-free former logos (and in any event, I see little value in retaining the logo for a three-week stunt format under any license). One possible complication is that although nominally a US-based station, WLYK has long been operated by Canadian interests as an additional station for the Canadian city of Kingston, Ontario, which may open the question of which country's TOO should be followed.

    • Reason: Various IPs have repeatedly overwritten the redirect to TV Red Puerto Rico with an article (that company used to own this station, but sold it), but the sourcing is very limited (only a RabbitEars entry that does not list any programming and says the station is off the air) — I suspect this does not meet the GNG. Since TV Red Puerto Rico no longer owns this station, a redirect there no longer seems valid — and barring some form of protection having anything at this title will only continue to lead to more unsourced/poorly-sourced IP edits.

    • Reason: The only non-FCC source currently in the article is station's listing on RabbitEars.info (which shows three channels of nothing — note that the article asserts It is currently not known what programming the station broadcasts.). The only apparently-known affiliation was carriage of All News Channel that supposedly ended in 2004 (notwithstanding that ANC shut down in 2002). I can't imagine a station like this comes close to even approaching the GNG. (And that's not even getting into the potential of these obscure articles attracting less-than-accurate information… if you see any claims elsewhere that this is a Nexstar-owned CBS affiliate (which I only recently reverted out of the article), you're looking at either a mirror (not a valid source) or someone that probably got their info from Wikipedia.)

This was previously part of a bulk nomination of many Innovate Corp./HC2-associated TV stations' articles earlier this year, which failed largely because it was too bulky (and intermingled stations much like this one with co-owned stations that nonetheless have longer and/or more-verifiable histories); the articles nominated in it were exempted from any standard post-close waiting periods.

    • Reason: Tagged for notability since 2010, only a month after its creation (by the since-blocked KXRXtreme (talk · contribs)); tagged as an advertisement since 2012 (not exactly surprising given the creator). Even when we were over-presuming notability for radio stations (relying more on an essay than on GNG), that was never extended to Internet radio stations such as this one. The sources here are a blog, relate to the "real" KXRX it was named for (supporting material that really belongs at KJAQ), the websites for shows carried on the stream, and a YouTube video (that is not about the station). I doubt this meets GNG, or NWEB to the extent it falls under that.

    • Reason: After some thought, despite this being a station in Los Angeles, one of the biggest television markets in the US, I cannot see how this low-power station — a former TBN relay turned into another DTV America/HC2/Innovate operation — actually meets the GNG. It appears to have only ever really been a repeater of other networks or stations, with neither the adequate sourcing nor any sort of local content or coverage that would get it anywhere near actual notability; the article also tends to attract unsourced edits of dubious quality, another reason why our old overpresumption of "notability" (based on an essay, which seemed to have these all-diginet stations slip through the cracks pre-2021, rather than GNG) was a bit of an error in hindsight. (This is another station that was part of the failed bulk nomination of HC2/Innovate station articles that intermingled stations like this one with facilities that have slightly more substantial histories; the history here isn't quite as threadbare as some of the newer DTV America stations that went from application to license surrender in about a decade, but it isn't much better.)

    • Reason: Another DTV America/HC2/Innovate LPTV with no significant coverage anywhere, and not much to speak of in general (despite the attempt to represent the 2011 CP grant date as its "sign on", it was only licensed in 2021). (This is another station that was part of the failed bulk nomination of HC2/Innovate station articles that intermingled stations like this one with facilities that may have, if not more notability, at least more substantial histories.)

    • Reason: Another HC2/Innovate LPTV with no significant coverage to meet the GNG. Note that the apparent short history of the station is actually a bit misleading; it was actually first granted as the digital companion channel for an analog WDID-LP… but an article we had on that was deleted at AfD in 2020 for a similar lack of notability and coverage (and all indications are the history of only carrying national services, with no local programming, has continued). (Which thus makes this the third nomination for this station, as it was part of the failed bulk nomination of many HC2/Innovate station articles earlier this year; soft deletion is completely off the table here.)

    • Reason: It seems unlikely that a company that owns radio stations in only one market — Fargo–Moorhead, of course) — could possibly attain the significant coverage needed to meet the GNG. (Not helping matters is that the second incarnation has to compete with a cluster that actually calls itself "Midwest Radio Fargo-Moorhead", which might be why it instead does business as "Radio FM Media" — and that other cluster owns all but one of the stations that were part of the first incarnation of the company [the one exception was promptly swapped back to the second version, long story short].) This has been tagged for needing additional sources since November 2012; alas, they seem unlikely to emerge.
  2. Reier Broadcasting Company: nominated at AfD; notified Wyevergreen (talk · contribs) 06:30, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: A company that only owned radio stations in one market — Bozeman, Montana — seems unlikely to have much chance of getting the significant coverage to meet the GNG. Some details about the end of the company that are here but not in the stations' articles probably should be integrated into them, which may require a nominal merge and/or redirect with, say, flagship property KBOZ (AM) as an alternative to deletion. I can't see any indication that this comes anywhere near meeting the GNG.

    • Reason: The rather razor-thin operational history of this radio station (and it hadn't "ceased broadcasting" by 2006 — that was when it was granted its construction permit; it was not licensed until 2011) leads me to believe that it probably wasn't around long enough to get anywhere near the significant coverage to meet the GNG. (The article does not even contain any information on what WZHL might have aired! Indeed, from 2009 to 2015 the edits were mostly maintenance and/or bots, with the transmitter coordinates being the most substantial addition.) A PROD was contested in 2019 at a time when this topic area hadn't yet completely moved away from the looser standards centered around the NMEDIA essay, which closes the books on any potential soft deletion.

An overarching article for these identically programmed stations, TV25.tv, was redirected to KCKS-LD in a 2016 AfD. Even in the days of lax notability standards and even-laxer enforcement of them, I questioned in the TV25.tv AfD whether we really needed four articles related to that network of all-diginet LPTVs. Seven years later, we have reached the point where the correct number was/is/should be zero, and it has become more accepted that this simply isn't the type of station that gets the requisite significant coverage to meet the GNG — FCC records, directories, and network announcements of their new affiliate just won't do.

    • Reason: Not many articles have been attempted to be prodded three times; in that sense alone, this AfD is long overdue. The article itself is a remnant of the looser standards in this topic area in the 2000s, but according to the talk page there was a failed prod that was followed by an A7 speedy deletion in 2007. It was recreated in 2009; a 2010 prod tagging was contested because of the prior article. (The contesting rationale notes that at the time, licensed radio stations are generally held to be notable, but with the caveat that consensus can change. In this topic area, that happened with this 2021 RfC; we now require significant coverage and cannot source solely to FCC records and other databases.) I just had to procedurally contest a third prod because of the prior prods. I had been considering a redirect to the list of radio stations in Pennsylvania as an alternative to deletion, and I still think that is the best course of action (I do not support retaining the article as it is), but the triple-prod means this is as much a procedural nomination as anything else.

    • Reason: This was once a redirect to KWBT (FM), which used to use the KBCT call sign, but that article was redirected due to lack of notability. There is no mention of this at Infinity Sports Network, which became the target to avoid a double redirect, or at KWBT (FM)'s current target of List of radio stations in Texas. The KBCT call sign has since been reassigned to a new FM station in Missouri, but there's no notability there either (I just reverted an attempt to create a stub on it that ultimately did not overwrite this redirect). At this point I can't really see any further reason to retain this redirect in any capacity.
