Don't add common diminutives to first formal mention of name

Common diminutives of a persons full name are not included in first formal mention in a bio article about that person per WP:QUOTENAME. Please stop adding them as that goes against the Wikipedia manual of style. Geraldo Perez (talk) 22:00, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Will Ryan. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. I guess need to be more formal about this - WP:QUOTENAME is part of the Manual of Style.
