You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (67.60.46.75) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a new Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. [edit]Don't add common diminutives to first formal mention of name
[edit]Common diminutives of a persons full name are not included in first formal mention in a bio article about that person per WP:QUOTENAME. Please stop adding them as that goes against the Wikipedia manual of style. Geraldo Perez (talk) 22:00, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Will Ryan. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. I guess need to be more formal about this - WP:QUOTENAME is part of the Manual of Style. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:06, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Billy Ryan, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. As explained above. I see no possible reason to deviate from the manual of style with respect to WP:QUOTENAME and MOS:LEGALNAME. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:47, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Vince Vaughn. I see you still have no intention of following the manual of style with respect to WP:QUOTENAME and MOS:LEGALNAME and are not even attempting to justify an exception. Since you are well-aware of the proper style and are choosing to ignore it this is looking deliberately disruptive. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:22, 20 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm NZ Footballs Conscience. I noticed that you recently removed content from Tony Hawk without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Walt Disney (disambiguation), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. [edit]Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page John Powell. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
- Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
- Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
- Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links or references
Thank you. 93 21:58, 2 January 2018 (UTC)

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Kate Higgins. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Hiro Kanagawa. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You just got off a 6 month block for disruption. Please don't make disruptive changes to ethnicity or nationality. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 10:00, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
