What I did was adding two hyperlinks to crosslink the pages. One page mentioned the dictionary Van Dale but had no link to it while there is a page about. My response: I recreated the page since it does not meet the criteria for a speedy deletion. This person has relevance to the field of civil engineering (comparable to Henry Liu: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Liu). The article is a work in progress, only a backbone to which others knowledgeable of the subject will add to over time.

Fort Clatsop Edit

You recently undid an edit I made to the article on Fort Clatsop under the grounds it was not constructive. While I respect your view-point, I disagree that it was not constructive.

It is not good practice in academic writing to refer to a past location using a contemporary name without clarifying. Without such clarification the sentence as it is presently worded (after your edit) implies that the region it refers to was known as "the state of Washington" in 1805. This is misinformation. Washington became a state in 1889. Furthermore, it is also possible that the sentence may be accused as being ethnocentric for the same reason.

I submit, therefore, that my edit was constructive and respectfully ask that you reverse your following edit.

Quest Mall

Hi I thought editing is to add extra information about the topic. I am the Project Engineer for that complete lighting project which had been the major attraction of the Quest Mall. This was the only reason to add to the article.If we keep the topic neutral then what is the point of editing in Wikipedia. I don't have any issues if you can find more details about this topic that would be great. I thought Wikipedia was suppose to be the knowledge tank. By the way it's Quest Indulge.

Hello. If I can have a say in this, I really believe you are both right on this specific issue. Having seen Quest Mall (only in pictures sorry) I must admit, that the lightning is a special and significant feature of the building. It would not be against the guidelines of Wikipedia to mention it. The problem is however, how will it be mentioned? Having read Vasans deleted text in the article, I must agree that it is too detailed for a wikipedia article. Unless notable enough in references mentioning the mall this seems like a way to add promotional content. It is not a matter of what i or you assume about what is good about the mall, but what is notably mentioned about the mall from citations. Yes, Removal of templates for A10 (which means duplication of articles) by making it a redirect is a more neutral solution for such duplication of articles if the article heading is appropriate and is something that a user may search and allows for different search criteria. If you dont see the preview before you save and see what content you have messed up, you will not realize that you are vandalizing the page. you have removed images by renaming it, messed up the infobox by duplicating the data. Unexplained page blanking

Regarding this edit which you reverted as an "unexplained page blanking": generally, when a page is created by a user, and then tagged for deletion by a subsequent user, and then blanked by the initial user, this is considered a good faith request to delete the page (see WP:CSD#G7). I spent several hours fact checking and correcting the text, researching and constructing a new table for this page and entering fixes to the citations as requested. The main article is never the best place to try out things. The best place is your sand box or at the least you should look at the preview of the page you are going to save before actually saving it. Treating the main article as sand box for your trials is not a good practice.
