Hello, Awesome 210, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Procolophonida, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

Your contributed article, Procolophonida

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Procolophonida. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Procolophonidae. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Procolophonidae – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:37, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Awesome 210, I noticed that your edit to Kuehneotheria seems like original research and is not allowed on wikipedia. It was named as a super legion by Mckenna in 1975, not an order. Could you change it back as I have already had to revert an edit by Awesome 209 who did the exact same change. Reid, iain james (talk) 15:47, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Reid,iain james (talk) 16:00, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for contributing the new article Millerosauroidea. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable by being clearly attributed to reliable sources. Please help by adding sources to the article you created and by making it clear how the sources support the material. See here for how to do inline referencing. Many thanks! PS If you need any help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Changes to Sauropsida template

[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Template:Taxonomy/Sauropsida. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. MMartyniuk (talk) 11:24, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Sundatheria requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cotylosauria, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Order (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Take it easy with template editing

[edit]

Hello! Your edit to Template:Taxonomy/Mammalia caused the {{Speciesbox}} template in the Human article to show broken wikicode. When editing templates, please make sure that your edit does not cause problems for existing transclusions, especially with regards to highly transcluded templates such as the {{Taxonomy}} template. Regards, Heymid (contribs) 21:47, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome 210—if someone reverts your edit with a summary containing text like "apparently breaking the species box template" — don't reinstate your edit without understanding what is going on. In fact, if anyone reverts any edit of yours for any reason, don't revert it without discussing. Doing so can be edit warring, is highly disruptive, and can lead to having your account blocked. Crocodilia

[edit]

I'm not sure why you added a fictional taxonomic revision by, ostensibly, a 10-year-old, but if you do it again, I will request a permanent ban. This is your only warning. HCA (talk) 14:01, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Marking controversial edits as minor

[edit]

Information icon Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Crocodilia, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. --McGeddon (talk) 14:01, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
  • I have blocked you for 48 hours due to your edit history. So far your edits have been seen as disruptive and you've been given several warnings to stop, which you haven't heeded. You simply cannot make up something and then add it to Wikipedia. This is seen as a neologism at best and at worst, just a hoax and outright vandalism. If you continue with these types of edits when the block is up, the block will become permanent. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:19, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Procolophonia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. HCA (talk) 13:37, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How was that vandalism? ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 16:46, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The user is deliberately replacing established scientific taxonomy with a taxonomy they made up, have never published, and is not in use in the scientific community. The user has done this before (and been temporarily banned for it), and multiple pages they have created have been deleted or are in the process. HCA (talk) 17:01, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah; I see. Vandalism isn't the right word but this is nevertheless quite disruptive and needs to stop. Awesome 210: I'm not sure what else needs to be said to make that clear. If you wish to continue editing here, you will need to discuss these kinds of revisions ahead of time and build consensus. Please let me know if you need any assistance with this; for example how to find the best place for such discussions. Thank you, and thank you HCA for cleaning up this mess. [edit]

Hi. I'm finally back. It took me so long to get here because I forgot my password. Anyway,, I was an idiot. I promise to not make any more un-cited (if that's a word) edits. I am deeply sorry for that. -Awesome 210

Welcome back. Just as a reminder, for article content, the key policies are verifiability, Neutrality, and No Original Research. As for user conduct, remember to be bold but not reckless, and discuss potentially controversial changes or additions beforehand, or if your edits are reverted. The bold-revert-discuss cycle can be constructive. Cheers, --Animalparty! (talk) 18:08, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
