License tagging for File:HarryPotter3 small.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:HarryPotter3 small.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Climaxdekapostercm3.jpg[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Climaxdekapostercm3.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 04:40, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Information.svg

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Kamen Rider Spirits, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Kamen Rider Spirits was changed by Belrien12 (u) (t) blanking the page on 2010-09-22T13:57:47+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 13:57, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

November 2010[edit]

Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Kamen Rider Spirits. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 12:54, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Goseiger episodes[edit]

Firstly, you had completely broke the formatting of the page because you did not follow protocol on the page.

Second, it is a general practice that we wait for confirmation on the next episode title from the TV Asahi and Toei websites for the series as episode titles mentioned in television guides can be incorrect.

And finally, none of your additions to the page are supported by reliable sources (i.e. the official websites) and have been removed.

In the future, please let editors who regularly edit the page to update it as they normally do.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:55, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

March 2011[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Wherever I Go. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Edit summaries like this do little to convince others to allow your edits. If you persist in trying to "bulldoze" your edits into the article without participating in a discussion you will only end up being blocked. AussieLegend (talk) 11:01, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Edit warring at Wherever I Go[edit]

Your persistence is admirable but you should not continue to add the content to Wherever I Go, as you did here. Your edits removed valid changes that yet another editor had made to the article. Reverting in the manner that you did without explanation is disruptive. If you persist, you may find yourself unable to edit at all. Please continue to discuss the edits on the article's talk page but do not add the content to the article without gaining consensus to do so. --AussieLegend (talk) 13:56, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Hello pacman (jap).jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Hello pacman (jap).jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. SKATER Is Back 15:18, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Super mario bros japanese cover.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Super mario bros japanese cover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 22:02, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Super_mario_bros_japanese_cover.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Super_mario_bros_japanese_cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. File permission problem with File:The Final cast and crew photo of search for tomorrow after production in december 1986.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The Final cast and crew photo of search for tomorrow after production in december 1986.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:14, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Problematic spelling and grammar[edit]

Hi, if you're going to edit at Wikipedia, you have to observe basic spelling, grammar and capitalization rules. Adding content like "She and dave are last seen many years later attending gingers book reading of her latest book" is problematic, because presumably you know that we capitalize proper nouns like "Dave" and "Ginger", and we use apostrophes when indicating possession, so "gingers" should be "Ginger's". lastly, we include a space after punctuation. These mistakes seem to be part of your repertoire, dating back as far as 2010.[2][3] Note that competence is required at Wikipedia, and continuously making problematic submissions like this can result in your account being blocked.
