Hi, Chuachenchie. Please confine your edits to the real counts of COVID cases and deaths in the article COVID-19 pandemic in the United States as given by the sources cited. We do not need to know the numbers in advance. Thank you. -SusanLesch (talk) 17:15, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Russian military intervention in the Syrian civil war does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!--Renat 13:44, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

News sources[edit]

Hi Chuachenchie, please don't use news sources for dealing with historical subjects as you did at Sino-Indian border dispute. Especially not the Times of India which doesn't seem to have any knowledgeable editors for history. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 23:14, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ARBIPA sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Your draft article, User:Chuachenchie/sandbox[edit]

Hello, Chuachenchie. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "sandbox".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 17:41, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page[edit]

You have created a draft in the wrong place. A draft may only exist in any of your sandbox pages ( you can create as many as you wish), or as a proper draft article. It cannot remain on your Userpage. Please move it, or I will move it into draftspace myself (i.e. Draft:Hsu Chiao-hsin). Thank you. Nick Moyes (talk) 07:13, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So just to confirm, you are not Hsu Chiao-hsin? Your userpage gives the impeession you are, but then I saw this comment. (pinging Nick Moyes) - wolf 18:40, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Shenzhou while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 09:57, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced material to List of oldest continuously inhabited cities or restore unsourced material[edit]

We need sources meeting WP:RS - for the oldest cities this means archaeological sources - stating that a place became a city at a certain time and was occupied without a break as a city until today. You also must NOT reinstate unsourced material once removed, that's a violation of basic policy at WP:VERIFY. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 12:33, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Long March 2F, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zhang Lu. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

re: Need for Edit summaries (yet again)[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. You have made over 3,000 edits, but not one of them has had an edit summary. Please change your editing pattern as other user expect some rationale as to what your edits are trying to do. Nick Moyes (talk) 21:13, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page (again)[edit]

I have moved your userpage to Draft:Hsu Chiao-hsin. We do not permit users to create userpages that resemble encyclopaedia entries. You failed to respond to my post above, made 9 months ago so, rather than simply delete it per WP:NOTWEBHOST, I have moved it to draft space. You may then work on it and submit it as an article, ensuring first that it meets our notabilty criteria. If you are that person, then you have a WP:COI conflict of interest in editing it (see WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY) and should declare that connection on your userpage. You may create a userpage again, but not in the same form, or it will be deleted. Simply say a few things about your interest in editing Wikipedia, but do not make it appear like an encyclopaedia entry next time. Thank you. Nick Moyes (talk) 21:10, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Chaddude. I noticed that you changed content in an article, China at the Olympics, but you didn't provide a reliable source. April 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm VickKiang. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Xu Yafen, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! VickKiang (talk) 02:13, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Hsu Chiao-hsin[edit]

Information icon Hello, Chuachenchie. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Hsu Chiao-hsin, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 22:02, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please add references to your edits on Wikipedia, and don't forget to add edit summary[edit]

I see you're an avid contributor to Tiangong Space Station, however, please don't forget to add references to the article. Making edits, even just small modifications, like you did with the weight and launch date of the Tiangong Space Station, without reference could risk getting your hard work reverted.

Making references is easy, please see Template:Cite web. A common one requires author's name, date, website name, webpage url, and title. And you can make them under 30 seconds. Finding reputable references is also easy. I recommend checking out Space.com or SpaceNews, as they have up-to-date information about the Tiangong station. -Loned (talk) 10:37, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wait until confirmation of launch success[edit]

Please when editing wikipedia pages related to space launches wait until you have a source confirming the success of the launch before updating the info (and add that to the pages). The latest example is the GLONASS-M 761 launch, whose success hasn't been confirmed so far (oddly) and yet you've already modified all the related pages. Edits without confirmation[edit]

I'm writing once again to request you to stop editing pages without any official confirmation of the event you're referring to and/or without updating the sources. I wrote a similar request last november regarding an edit on the spaceflight launches page that got unanswered, and today I saw you did the same once again. Please respond to this message and please stop with that behavior before having to report it. There's no reason to not wait until sources are available to make an edit without forcing other users to correct what you did. Thanks. Fm3dici97 (talk) 15:28, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Shenzhou 12 into Shenzhou 15. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 15:00, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning before block[edit]

Hi Chuachenchie. Leaving edit summaries and communicating with other editors is the basis for having a productive and collaborative editing environment. You have continued to add edits without edit summaries, also you are adding unreferenced material in BLPs and other articles. Finally, you have not communicated even once with any editor around here. I am going to block you in a few hours, unless you respond urgently and confirm that going forward, you will leave edit summaries and respond to talk page messages of other editors. Let me know. Thanks, Lourdes 06:06, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
