Notice
[edit]Hello CyberWarfare. Your account has been granted the "rollbacker" and "reviewer" user rights. These user rights allow you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes and quickly revert the edits of other users.
- Please keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin).
- The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection enabled is located at Special:StablePages. You may find the following pages useful to review:
- Wikipedia:Reviewing, the guideline on reviewing.
- Wikipedia:Pending changes, the summary of the use of pending changes.
- Wikipedia:Protection policy#Pending changes protection, the policy determining which pages can be given pending changes protection by administrators.
Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of reviewer or rollback. If you no longer want either of these user rights, contact me and I'll remove it, alternatively you can leave a request on the administrators' noticeboard. Happy editing! - Thanks Swarm!! I'll read up on these pages before I make use of it, and huggle. --CyberWarfare (talk) 19:59, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

[edit]For your contributions to years in Sri Lanka and for combating vandalism. Çok teşekkür ederim! I hope you stick around. Alakzi (talk) 20:58, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
- Alakzi, that truly means a lot to me! On my time restricted schedule I do my best to be on here it's addicting and very interactive. You too have been a huge contributor here, the amount of attention you have put to TransAsia Airways Flight 235, and Cyprus related articles is outstanding and deserves recognition! (: iyi şanslar! --CyberWarfare (talk) 21:39, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

Image usage
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
So I want to add an image to Aliağa Wind Farm, it needs an image, I found one here. Is it possible to use this image on google to the article? or do I have to ask permission from the individual/organization who have these on the site? Id love to have an image in this article and there are plenty on this site. Is it not legal for me to do this? Thank you --CyberWarfare (talk) 13:27, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- Almost certainly not, I'm afraid. There's nothing on myclimate.org to indicate that its content is free to reuse under a CC-BY-SA licence, so even though they haven't explicitly stated that they reserve the rights to their content, such reservation is implied. In order to reuse the image on Wikipedia, we would need an email to permissions-enwikimedia.org from the photographer stating that they released the image under a suitable free licence (the text at WP:CONSENT is a good template for them to use). Any images we use on Wikipedia have to be licenced for anyone to freely resuse and alter for any purpose (including commercially), unless they're under fair use (which wouldn't be applicable here). What's more, that release needs to come from the copyright holder, which is nearly always the photographer who originally took the picture. Yunshui 雲水 13:51, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you Yunshui, your explanation was really helpful, basically unless the photographer says its free to re use we can not take images from an online source unles that CC-BY-SA licence is available. So the articles you listed and with all that said those images simply can't be used unless specified by the owner! Thank you very much. --CyberWarfare (talk) 17:37, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hey there,
You messaged me about this a few weeks back, unfortunately, I've been away. However, now I'm back, I was wondering if this was still of interest to you? If so, I just need a brief outline of any counter vandalism work you have done in the past, and what you hope to gain from the course. Mdann52 (talk) 18:09, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- No worries Mdann52, if you are busy, you're busy and I am obliged to respect that! I have been using Huggle to revert vandalism, and I will lay out some edits I have done during my time reverting vandalism, here are some of my many reverts: [1], [2], [3]. I have also made errors which I immediately fixed, 2 reverts when the edit was vandalism I misclicked as External link policy violation. It gave the wrong warning, in each instance it was fixed and the warning adjusted. If you could give me a review on my edits and weed out my faults (and remedies for these faults), it would be great! If you feel work is necessary on my edits, do tell. Thanks! --CyberWarfare (talk)
- I've had a quick look through your contributions, and with the best of respects, I've got little or anything left in my course to teach you! If you want, I can keep an eye out for you and give advice as and when I see it, but else from that, I'm little help :P Feel free to drop me a message if you ever need anything though. Mdann52 (talk) 15:32, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks Mdann52, it has been a pleasure talking to you! Thank you for your help, I hope to come across you soon. --CyberWarfare (talk) 20:49, 7 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your GA nomination of Boeing 737
[edit]Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Boeing 737 you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Concertmusic -- Concertmusic (talk) 23:00, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hello! The bot message above states an expected review time of 7 days. This article may take a little longer due to its size and number of references - just FYI. Thank you! --Concertmusic (talk) 23:06, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- I am halting this review at this time, and will put the review on hold. It is my opinion that the comments and defects in the GA review add up to what appears to be a fail for GA at this point. If someone will be willing to take on the large task of correcting these issues in the near future, and would like this review to continue, I am happy to carry on, but having made it less than 1/3 through the article, there are glaring holes, which would need to be addressed for GA status. Thank you! --Concertmusic (talk) 18:35, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of Boeing 737
[edit]The article Boeing 737 you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Boeing 737 for things which need to be addressed. Your GA nomination of Boeing 737
[edit]The article Boeing 737 you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Boeing 737 for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article.
