A tag has been placed on Peter Brian Albers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Timneu22 · talk 11:02, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Vigdis Røising has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I have found no third party reliable sources to show any sort of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Øyvind Torseter has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lazăr Sfera, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://eu-football.info/_match.php?id=6280. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Technical requirements related to translating pages[edit]

Hello, Danielwork. Thank you so much for all your contributions to English Wikipedia. In the past three months you appear to have created dozens of new articles. This is an accomplishment to be proud of, and a great service to the project.

I noticed that Dine Penger is very similar to no:Dine Penger, to which you include an interwiki link. Am I right in assuming that you translated the English page from the Norwegian one? If so, Wikipedia licensing requires that the source of a translated page be credited. In other words, if an editor translates a page from Norwegian Wikipedia and adds that translation to English Wikipedia, some credit must be given to the Norwegian source page.

To give credit to a source page, name the original-language page and indicate that you translated it in the edit summary. Then add {{Translated page}} to the Talk page of the new English page. If you have translated pages without indicating so in the edit summary, adding the {{Translated page}} template to the talk page after the fact may adhere to the spirit of the policy (though I Am Not A Lawyer).

I know it seems like a hassle to ask someone who has done the hard work of translating to go back and do the additional work of adding these templates, but it is necessary in order to comply with Wikipedia's license and the legal copyright of contributors to the original page.

See Wikipedia:Translation and Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia for more information. Happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 22:20, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Jaume Sisa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Danielwork! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 2 of the articles that you created are currently tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 936 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Bamba Bakary - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Sébastien Morel, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
Please don't make dates or years into links - it clutters up Wikipedia's indexes & slows things down. Please read Wikipedia:YEARLINK#Specific_cases. Thanks.

Please reply to concerns[edit]

Hello Danielwork. I have a concern - probably shared by others - that you don't read Talk pages - even your own. Please prove me wrong by adding a comment of your own, here under mine.

The reason for my concern is that myself & other editors have had issues with your editing style.

We have left helpful tips for you here, but there is no evidence you have read any of them.

Indeed, the pie-chart of your edits shows that all your contributions - bar none - have been edits to Wikipedia articles. You have never - on this account - edited a Talk page, even for the articles you've copied from Scandinavian Wikipedias (which seems to be your sole reason for the account?) & have been proposed for deletion.

My guess is that you are Scandinavian, and it would be refreshing to know that you spoke and understood English - as many Scandinavians of course are excellent English-readers and indeed -speakers.

Wikipedia works on wp:consensus, and therefore it's important to know that all editors can communicate here in English and collaborate.

Please respond here. Thank you. Trafford09 (talk) 07:31, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TOTD[edit]

Tip of the day...

Please summarize your work using the Edit summary box

If you make anything other than a minor edit to an article, it helps others if you fill in the edit summary. Edit summaries are visible in the page history, watchlists, and on Recent changes, so they help other users keep track of what is happening to a page.

If you use section editing, the summary box is filled in with the section heading by default (in gray text), which you can follow with more detail. You also can put links to articles in the edit summary. Just put double brackets around [[the article title]] like you would normally. The summary is limited to 255 characters, so many people use common abbreviations, such as sp for correcting spelling mistakes, rm for remove, ce for copy-edit, etc.

Read more:

Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did in Laura Christensen, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. If you can understand English (which one has to doubt), are you going to wait until you get a final warning (or beyond)? This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. Condica capensis[edit]

Hello Daniel, thank you for adding moth species. While I appreciate the effort, the article was somewhat of a mess. Could I give you some pointers? When making a species it is easiest to copy an article of a related species to your text editor and changing the stuff that needs changing (the authority, name, etc.), that way, you always have a working taxobox and categories. Your contributed article, Events at the 2002 Winter Olympics[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Events at the 2002 Winter Olympics. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - 2002 Winter Olympics. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 2002 Winter Olympics - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. CTJF83 chat 20:38, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lesly Bengaber has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

October 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Nordlandsposten, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I don't think you speak English (prove me wrong?), but your latest article YET AGAIN has links to dates, which (as has frequently been pointed out to you) breaks the Manual Of Style. Trafford09 (talk) 22:26, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Lars-Göran Lönnermark. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Vic Roberts. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you. As stated so often, don't link dates. Trafford09 (talk) 23:24, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Jean-Carl Boucher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- mitchsurp -- (talk) 03:40, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Mickey and the Beanstalk. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Still not prepared (or able?) to discuss Edit Summaries? Trafford09 (talk) 22:59, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Ludvig Nessa, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. I don't think you can read English (prove me wrong?), but you're running out of chances to desist linking dates (as stated often, earlier). Recent Olympic articles[edit]

I noticed you've been creating a lot of Olympic Event related articles recently. Many of the articles you've been creating include the {{WikiProject Olympics Winter Other olympic article Table}} template in the actual article. This template appears to be intended for the Wikiproject to keep track of what articles have been created so far. It is clearly not intended to be included in the articles themselves. Please be sure to not include this template in any other articles you've created, and also please remove it from any articles you've created recently. Thanks. Your CV so far[edit]

I don't think you speak English - I've invited you to prove me wrong so many times. However, I'll summarise your contributions to date, with their misdemeanours. This is for the benefit of any admin. who reviews your case.

  • You've never used any Talk page - even this, your own - to seek consensus, collaborate with, or address any other editors' concerns - as shown here in your pie-chart of edits. To you, wp:collaborations seem an alien concept.
  • You've been reminded about wp:consensus, but again to no avail.
  • You persistently and flagrantly refused to provide a wp:Edit summary with _any_ edit so far.
  • Ditto re linking of dates.

IMHO, the project would benefit greatly by your being blocked _until_ such time as you prove you can at least read and write English. Do you have anything to say? Anything at all? Even in your defence? (That'll be the day.) Trafford09 (talk) 17:09, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.

The next time you violate Wikipedia's Manual of Style by using disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Sigrid Boo, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please see the preceding section, for details of this user's persistent & flagrant misdemeanours. Trafford09 (talk) 17:11, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ignace Morgenstern moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Ignace Morgenstern, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Boleyn (talk) 06:56, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Ignace Morgenstern[edit]

Hello, Danielwork. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ignace Morgenstern".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Lapablo (talk) 23:37, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
