I just want to remind you that our policy on portal links is that they are placed at the top of the see also section. Also each state in Australia has its own portal so if that isn't on the page it would be good to add that too. Thanks for contributing. - Shiftchange (talk) 02:06, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Please note that Thai Airways never actually ordered any Boeing 787's from Boeing, but instead from ILFC (a leasing company). The aircraft are technically delivered to ILFC, owned by them, and then leased to Thai Airways after delivery. This is why Thai does not appear in the List of Boeing 787 orders and deliveries. Thanks. SempreVolando (talk) 10:54, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

can't u add in the 787 for thai?

Speedy deletion nomination of Por Por Tapatt

[edit]

Hello Do do doggy,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Por Por Tapatt for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jhona43 (talk) 15:15, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thai Airways' A340-600

[edit]

Hello there. You should be careful teaching others not reading sources before posting while you clearly can't do it yourself.

You say: It never say it will be retired.
This news clearly states that Thai retires their A340-600s by the end of March as the name of the article IS "Thai plans to complete A340-600 retirement by end of March". So you are clearly wrong.

You say: the airline's four A340-600s are also scheduled to operate some irregular rotations...
Now look closely at the source again. It says this will be done "Until the end of next month" which is the end of March as stated as the retirement date in the article! So you are wrong again.

So please don't give advice to others you don't follow yourself. Any more false accusals or deletions of edits will be reported as vandalism. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.244.140.191 (talk) 16:36, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

sir i work in thai airways so that is why i know, they will use in the future as a charter flight or other private flight, This plane will be completly retired by the end of 2017 (before december from plan)

Sukhothai Kingdom

[edit]

I am concerned that you restored an edit at Sukhothai Kingdom which was clear vandalism. Perhaps you meant only to change a date, but you should check the edits more closely. This is your edit. You may need to scroll down to see the vandalism.-gadfium 04:46, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

from what I check, i understand that it is the riht information, you might want to check again and edit it, thanks (Do do doggy 03:27, 26 March 2015 (UTC))

Perhaps you do not understand me. I do not know whether the date is accurate or not. If you wish to change the date, that is okay by me. However, your edit added back phrases such as "add me in steam" which is clearly not relevant to the article. You then posted an encouraging message on the vandal's talk page. Please be more careful when you undo another editor's change.-gadfium 03:52, 26 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

oh, thanks, now I undersatand what you mean. (Do do doggy 00:38, 27 March 2015 (UTC))

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Do do doggy. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Ruamrudee International School, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 05:01, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Emirates fleet

[edit]

In regards to the 16 options for Emirates and their recent MoU with Airbus. It's already been mentioned further down in the same article, there's no need to add it to the table, which only contains firm orders, not order change rights, or just commitments. If you've noticed, even the 787-10 order is NOT mentioned in the table for the same reason.

--Murtaza2000 (talk) 18:03, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

whats the problem to add? please explain! (Do do doggy 18:27, 31 January 2018 (UTC))

I did explain, you don't seem to understand. The context in which you've written '16 options' makes no sense to anyone when reading the article. I also mentioned that the table only contains firm orders and '16 options' is irrelevant in that case since it doesn't refer to an actual order, but just an option that EK can take up when ordering their new A380s. Don't revert the edit since it isn't constructive and does not belong in the table. It has been mentioned under the 'Airbus A380' heading on the Emirates fleet page. I also had many facts written as Notes on the Emirates fleet, but they were reverted by other editors as they did not appear constructive, so I've added them on the same page below if anyone wants to read them. Which is also what I've done with the option to buy 16 more A380s.

--Murtaza2000 (talk) 14:44, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

---: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thai_Airways Please see this for example... They even say options... So it is ok... [Do do doggy 13:28, 5 February 2018 (UTC)]

The reason it's okay there is because Thai has firm orders for the A350-900 and have already received some aircraft as part of that order.

Emirates just signed an MoU with Airbus, at the moment there are only 41 FIRM orders (as shown in the table), remaining to be fulfilled. The article here: http://gulfnews.com/business/aviation/emirates-orders-36-airbus-aircraft-worth-16b-1.2159285 says the MoU is for 20 aircraft with an option for 16 more. The order for 20 aircraft itself isn't a firm order, so neither are the options available for that order. When these figures are officially updated by Airbus on their website for Orders and Deliveries, I will edit the page myself, but for now, please refrain from adding that to the fleet table. FYI, just because you say 'Its okay' doesn't make it actually okay. The situation with Thai is completely different. Please understand this and refer to the talk page before you keep editing the Emirates fleet page. --Murtaza2000 (talk) 15:37, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi wikipedia admins. I would like to address that this should be a mistake and be revise. I was editing the page Ruamrudee International school to make it better with no bad article about the school. Terrar215 had decided to add in many information that is negative to make it worsen which I did tried to revert it back a few times. Please fell free to check out the Ruamrudee International school page on what are the differences that I had made. Thank you. Do do doggy 14:57, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
