Hi

Can you take a look at the table of goalscorers as there seems to be an inconsistency. According to the league table, 79 goals were scored. The list of goalscorers total 76 (although a total of 79 is given). The inconsistencies appear to relate to the matches against Hartlepool United on 12 March 1994, when 4 goals were scored but only 3 goalscorers are listed, and Fulham on 2 April, when 2 goals were scored, but only 1 is credited. Also, Cross is credited with 13 goals in the list of matches played but only 12 in the tables.

Thanks & best wishes Daemonickangaroo2018 (talk) 12:56, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Okay, all that we have is Soccerbase. So I used that to update/correct the scorers. That gives 29 December 1993 as only van der Laan the scorer, with the other goal not credited to anyone.--EchetusXe 13:33, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Done that. Soccerbase's 1996/97 Chester season is incomplete, so I've also fixed that row. I left the SB ref in there in case it was being used elsewhere in the article, you can either move it to where it's being used or remove it. Also, SB's Rochdale 2001/02 season has 2 playoff apps listed as regular league matches, as it often does, which I've fixed, but left the SB source in place (it's obvious if you look at the source that a home-and-away pair of fixtures at the end of the season are playoffs). Oddly, the player-id in all the soccerbase season refs was wrong, I've changed them as well. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:21, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Excellent, thank you!--EchetusXe 10:55, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Crosby

Done. Added the loan spell at Halifax Town (1 sub app in the Conference) w/book source. Soccerbase is incomplete for Darlington, so I've sourced that entirely to ENFA, which crosschecks with my Darlington book. There are a couple of other differences: one Brighton app and one Scunthorpe goal extra on Soccerbase, and one Scunthorpe season where Soccerbase has playoff apps down as regular season; have gone with ENFA on those, which gives the same league apps/goals as Hugman. I'll leave the infobox for you to adjust :-) cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:33, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi there. Would you be prepared to nominate 1993 Football League Second Division play-off Final for GAN? I'm trying to get all play-off finals to GA or above and this article is in brilliant condition – all it needs is nomination and probably a bit of a polish, but as you're the principal editor, I don't want to do that, unless you're not interested? Let me know what you think? Same comment applies to 1989 Football League Third Division play-off Final by the way... with the GAN drive still having a week left, now might be a good time! Cheers. Players are not released in May

They leave their club at the end of their contract, 30 June, unless a source says explicitly otherwise. GiantSnowman 09:54, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

@GiantSnowman: Port Vale Football Club has today announced the list of players who will be released later this month. (10 May 2021). That is from the source you are using in those articles.--EchetusXe 10:02, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
You know as well as I do that the wording is poor. why would Port Vale be the only League club to end contracts in May rather than June? GiantSnowman 10:06, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Your updates

I don't know what you are doing, but you are blanking articles when you 'update'. Please stop immediately. GiantSnowman 17:10, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

My computer crashed and Firefox restored the pages but I guess it doesn't work properly when editing just a section. Cheers.--EchetusXe 17:11, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

Lucas

please review this edit - you have added 'state league' games for English non-league clubs, something which doesn't actually exist... GiantSnowman 17:22, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Oh yeah, complicated Brazilian stats. I will fix that now.--EchetusXe 17:36, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
