WP:CANVASS is not a term associated with notifying entire projects. It is used when you are notifying select individuals in a cherrypicking manner.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:53, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Well, the old counts have been by nomination, so if multiple ones are promoted, it still counts as one. Still, this way makes more sense. Let me think. Adam Cuerden (talk) 01:44, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Featured Sounds needs you
Featured sounds was booming with activity in the March/April period, ideally that should be all the time. FS has been a battleground at times, however, it is my hope that that is in the past. I ask you all to reconsider your positions and set aside the differences you may have had with other participants for the good of the project and encyclopedia. Don't let FS become like VP, it is a path that a featured process should traverse. Penn State Media Policy class
Hi, Guerillero! I have no involvement with the class participants, the campus ambassador program, or the article in question, but would you please take a look at a thread about the possibility of a WP:IAR "ignore all rules" approval of a "Did you know?" nomination for an article 5x expanded by one of Professor Obar's classes, despite a problem with the timing of its submission. You'll note that in the DYK "template talk" thread that I suggested the possibility of re-inviting the prof back for clarification, and of likewise informing an "ambassador" he's worked with.
Since there was support there for doing so, I don't consider this canvassing, but if you do at all, please ignore the request. Part of my reason for contacting you is that I notice the professor hasn't been online since he commented in the DYK thread, and I'm concerned that he may not be able to supply the requested clarification as to which students deserve credit in a timely way. I'll also disclose, btw, that I've contacted one other ambassador, Neutralhomer, about this as well, since I wasn't sure which of you were principally involved in coaching the class along with their contributions here. Indeed, I know almost nothing about the campus ambassador program, except that I think it's great. And "no", I'm afraid I don't have time to volunteer, myself, although I do admire the generosity of those who do volunteer. If you'd like to reply to me directly, as opposed to commenting in the DYK thread, you can do so here, since I've temporarily watchlisted this page. Best regards, – OhioStandard (talk) 09:42, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Request from WMF PPI Team Member-Mishelle Gonzales
Hi Guerillero:
Annie Lin mentioned that you did a great map for the regional ambassador page-I saw it and it's great! I need something similar for a couple of maps on this page: http://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_in_Higher_Education_Summit. I'd like to know if you would be willing to put that together for us? Any help you could provide would be fantastic.
We would like maps for each of these three direction sets (these directions have to be confirmed...which is happening right now).
To Get From Logan International Airport to The Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel
1. Take the free Massport shuttle bus service from the Airport Terminal to the MTBA Airport Station.
2. Take the Blue Line Subway to Government Center
3. At Government Center Station go upstairs to the Green Line
4. Take an Inbound “E” train to Prudential Station
5. At street level locate Huntington Avenue and the footbridge.
6. The entrance to the Hotel is at the footbridge.
To Go From The Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel to Simmons College
1. Walk out the front door of the hotel and turn left onto Huntington Avenue.
2. Walk approximately 1 block down to the Prudential Station.
3. Take the Green-E Line-Heath Street train to the Museum Of Fine Arts Station.
4. Keep to the right and walk down Louis Prang Street until you see the Simmons College cupola on the left.
To Get From The Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel to Logan International Airport
1. Leave the hotel and walk approximately 1 block to the the Prudential Station.
2. Take the Green-E Line Train to Government Center.
3. Go downstairs to the Blue Line and take the train to Airport Terminal.
4. Take the free Massport shuttle bus service from the Airport Station to the Airport Terminal.

The British Grenadiers
Why did you move The British Grenadiers to close? Usually when it is 1 oppose and 1 support plus the nominator they wait for another vote.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:27, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- I see the "Nominations to Close" section was created with instructions different than policy. I have changed those instructions and moved the nomination back.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 13:31, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
