Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Indesit, with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —MelbourneStartalk 11:22, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Thrianta rabbit on hay.jpeg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Thrianta rabbit on hay.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. License tagging for File:Bumblebee toad.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bumblebee toad.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Southern toad, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anura. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Blue-tailed Skink (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Page move cleanup

[edit]

I noticed that you moved a page. I think there is a problem that should be cleaned up: please see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive268#Page move cleanup. The problem is that the original article has effectively been lost as it now a new article about a different topic. Johnuniq (talk) 05:25, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Salamanders as pets

[edit]

The article Salamanders as pets has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a 'how to'. This article is an essay or Original research. Unreferenced.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:31, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Salamanders as pets requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://animals.pawnation.com/create-perfect-salamander-habitat-11640.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copyright problem icon Your addition to Bibron's gecko has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. [edit]

Can you give me a clear picture of what is going on with all your page moves and redirects in several Skink articles, please? Best, -- Sam Sing! 01:06, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your redirection of Blue-tailed Skink to the DAB page you created at Blue-tailed Skink (disambiguation). Cryptoblepharus egeriae is not one of the three entries on the DAB page. What is your intention here? Please start communicating. Thanks. -- Sam Sing! 01:21, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Would it be possible to get a reply to the above questions? -- Sam Sing! 08:18, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you happily keep on editing including recreation of Care for skinks with the odd string of text "Move this page" instead of communicating? Care for skinks was deleted just a few hours ago under G3. -- Sam Sing! 09:09, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Would you please stop and talk for a minute? Your recent creation of Blue-Tailed Rainbow Skink is yet another title that goes against the policy in WP:TITLEFORMAT. -- Sam Sing! 10:39, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or

  2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
  3. will make useful contributions instead.

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Koko Nigel, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
