Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Battle of Svatove. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Thanks again, and happy editing!

An article you recently created, Invasion of Transnistria (2022), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Battle of Svatove

[edit]

Per WP:NOTACRYSTALBALL, Wikipedia doesn't create articles for events that might or are about to happen. The Battle of Svatove is one such case. There is no fighting in Svatove proper, it is just a goal in a longer campaign. Until fighting occurs, I highly recommend you keep the page in draftspace and work on current events as a prelude.

On another note, your edits to the page are really good, and the page looks great already, even if the subject matter necessitates it to draftspace. Jebiguess (talk) 19:41, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Neil A. Armstrong Middle School (Levittown, Pennsylvania) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The school does not have any special notability that passes WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 05:36, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Neil Armstrong Middle School

[edit]

You did something wrong here, although I'm sure it's some type of accident. The entire text talks about Harry Truman High School, not Neil Armstrong Middle School. Please fix it promptly so that there's a chance the article won't be deleted. ```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ira Leviton (talkcontribs) 16:51, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Creating articles about middle schools

[edit]

Please don't waste your efforts by creating articles about middle schools (or elementery schools); the general consensus is that they are rarely notable. See Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Common_outcomes#Schools. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:35, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Girth Summit (blether) 19:38, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Archer1234. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bristol Township School District, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. That's an extraordinary claim about the start date of the district. You're going to have to substantiate that by citing a reliable source. Archer1234 (talk) 21:05, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, KreekCraft3232. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Invasion of Transnistria".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
