Hi. I've reverted your edit (incrementing the number of English managers of NUFC by one to account for Shearer). It looks as though the figure of 22 was wrong before Shearer and should have been 21 (so 22 is now correct). I can see what's happened - someone has just counted the number of England flags in the table and come up with 22 (pre-Shearer). That doesn't take into account the fact that Keegan was manager twice, so would have been counted as two English managers instead of one. Regards, Tonywalton Talk 15:25, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Ging The Star.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 14:56, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Läng

[edit]

Sawadee Kap Khun Pee, first of all I would like to thank you for the work you are doing here, for articles related to Thai Football. I write you here because you have made a change in the german wikipedia for Peter Läng. I just want to inform you that I undid your move to Peter Läeng. First of all, the reason is that his name is written as Peter Läng on the official website of his club. So I take this as reference. If you like to name it in english, Peter Läeng, ok. Up to you. I don't have any problem with that. But for the german wiki, please leave it as it is. Korp Khun ma kap. --Lokomotive74 (talk) 17:51, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't know that but on the official website of Football Association of Thailand written as Peter Läeng. --KungDekZa (talk) 06:18, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that's interesting. I always facing the problems with Thainames. See names written or transliterated often in different ways. So sometimes you never know what is right and what is wrong. Espacially for me as I am not able to read Thai. --Lokomotive74 (talk) 08:09, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Shocking Pink Dragon Millipede.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Shocking Pink Dragon Millipede.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Smartse (talk) 15:54, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your intention but this is thai clubs not european clubs, there aren't so many former playes like europen clubs, thus, it's not neccessary to add another articles.

OK, I understand but Chonburi, BEC Tero and RTAF had club players categories like european clubs I think it's can add another articles --KungDekZa (talk) 11:26, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've created the above page with the information that i know.

I think we should discuss what other pages we should create. Personally, i think we should create this kind of page for every team in the TPL at least. What do you think?

I can create pages similiar to the Muang page, but i cannot put in information about player statistics as i cannot find this information and i can't speak / read Thai. I suggest that all other clubs have the same format as the Muang page to start with and the if someone can supply statistics, then the statistics table can be added.

I would like to know your thoughts, because i can help you with whatever you want to achieve on Thai football subject, but i cannot help insert information that i cannot understand (stats in Thai etc). Druryfire (talk) 14:00, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i have created a page for Bangkok Glass, can you create the other templates similiar to Muang and Chonburi at the bottom of the page?

Also, can you create the pages that have not been created, such as Muang in Asia so I can see what kind of information you want putting in their? If you create them, i can then follow your format / template Druryfire (talk) 15:45, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thai football - lets make it work

[edit]

Gents,

I think the time has come to try and use some kind of standard for the articles of our Thai football teams from TPL down to the RL leagues. Some look a mess, some information is back to front. We need to settle on some templates.

Can anyone suggest ideas??

Here's some from myself:

  • Brief introduction. Doesn't need to be big. State the team's full name, year formed and location.
  • Club History - How the club was formed, who owns the club. Break it down into sub sections for yearly summaries if need be. Could be incoporated into the timelines some pages have
  • Club Creasts - The clubs shirt badges seem to change yearly, lets show non thai football experts how the clubs have developed. Show the club logo's and give brief explanation of how they developed.
  • Season by season records - I suggest the table below is used for all teams
Season League FA Cup Queen's
Cup
Super
Cup

Division P W D L F A Pts Pos Name Goals
1996-97 TPL 34 9 14 11 37 44 41 12th

  • Club Honours - are these called honours or achievements? Do you show runners up achievements aswell as winners medals?
  • Continental Competitions - Vital the performances of our teams are shown but they already in the season by season table, do we need it?
  • Coaches - A table of coaches past and present along with associated honours
  • Current Squad - Do we need to show transfers? They have yearly pages per TPL club to show this

Generally this is the basic requirement, in my opinion in this order. What are your opinions?

Can anyone create a page, probably in the Thailand Portal so we cna have a checklist, maybe assign certain users to certain pages so we don't undone what other people have done and discuss! Druryfire (talk) 21:59, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My ideas

[edit]
  • History - Club history
    • Timeline
  • Creast and colours - Information and history of creast and colours
  • Grounds - Information and history of home stadium
  • Supporters - Information of supporters
  • Season by season records - Should create new article "List of .... (club name) seasons" such as Chonburi, Newcastle United
  • Honours - Winners and runners-up in league, domestic cups, asian and worldwide
  • Club officials - List of current club board
    • Head coach history - A table of coaches past and present along with associated honours
  • Players

I like your idea on the transfers. I think it would be much easier to keep. With regards to the season articles, I'm not sure. Maybe only for TPL clubs? RL clubs have no information whatsoever and need to grow before creating more sub pages Druryfire (talk) 07:51, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kokaew Pikulthong has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Orphaned non-free image File:Chula United new logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Chula United new logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:22, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Muanpair Panaboot - Mee Tae Kid Teung.ogg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Muanpair Panaboot - Mee Tae Kid Teung.ogg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. The article All-time Thai Premier League table has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable per precedent at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/All-time English Football League 1st Division Table.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of All-time Thai Premier League table for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article All-time Thai Premier League table is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/All-time Thai Premier League table until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Jenks24 (talk) 15:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thai help needed

Hello KungDekZa, I'm contacting you because we need some Thai translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on th.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Thai Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Football records in Thailand, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carmelo González (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Logo TTM Phichit.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Logo TTM Phichit.png.

Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:11, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free image use in userboxes

[edit]

Hi KungDekZa. This is just to let you know that I removed File:Thailand national team.png from User:KungDekZa/Thai football for the reasons explained in WP:UP#Non-free images. Non-free files are only allowed to be used in the article namespace per WP:NFCC#9; this means they cannot be used in templates or userboxes on userpages, talkpages, etc. They may be linked to as needed when being discussed (like I did above), but they should not be displayed. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask at WP:MCQ. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:48, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
