Hi its User:Tristan.andrade.136 I followed up on you request for at least one links I put in 2 links. Contact me if you need to talk to me From: User:Tristan.andrade.136 —Preceding undated comment added 20:36, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for adding the link. Keep adding more information, and cite all sources as you go. IMDb isn't a very reliable source. Make sure you keep working on the article to make sure it clearly shows that the subject meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Specifically, the notability guideline for actors. Wikipedia only includes subjects that have received significant coverage in reliable sources. If those sources don't exist, then a subject is viable for deletion. Hi Scott Beaudin Page I put a Links for it and I think now it shouldn't be dealeted from:User:tristan.andrade.136
- Thank you for putting in links; however, you've only included one, and it doesn't indicate how Beaudin is important enough to have his own encyclopedia article. He has only had minor appearances in a few TV shows. His career just doesn't seem noteworthy, and there is a scarcity of available sources on the web. See here for Wikipedia's guidelines on notability. Cheers, Michaelzeng7 (talk) 03:52, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
Links
Hi its User:Tristan.andrade.136 i followed up on Scott Beaudin i put in more links and found more info/Performeces of Scott Beaudin okay reply to me if the artical will be deleted or not bye from: User:Tristan.andrade.136
- The links you add are not reliable sources. What we need is an abundance of sources in places like reputable newspapers and magazines. Anyone can post anything to the Web, so we need to find sources that are reliable to use for information; you can't just use any random link you find on the Internet. LinkedIn profiles and sketchy "Behind the Voice Actor" pages just won't do. Unfortunately, I can't find any reliable sources about this person. This could simply be because this person is not significant enough; after all, he has only appeared in minor roles in a few TV shows. In my opinion, Wikipedia should not have an article about this person. You are invited to voice your own opinion at the debate, though. Cheers, Michaelzeng7 (talk) 17:17, 29 December 2013 (UTC)

RE: Your submission at Articles for creation: ArtTrak, Inc. (January 7)
In response to your Comment: I am unable to locate the sources you have included. Do you think you can provide links for them? Michaelzeng7 (talk) 03:23, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
I read under the references tab that it was OK to use printed sources, and because some of these references are older, they are either in the respective publication's archive or they are from sources that I have printed copies of, but do not have online links to. They are real, verifiable sources despite not having current web versions to link to. What do I do in this case? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JessicaLaine WikiEditor (talk • contribs) 04:02, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
I can't link directly to the publication's archived articles, since you usually have to log into the archive to view them. Also, theMET was a print publication based in Dallas that covered the Arts, but it is no longer in publication, so I'm not sure they have an online archive. JessicaLaine WikiEditor (talk) 04:08, 7 January 2014 (UTC) JessicaLaine WikiEditor
- It's OK to use printed sources; the problem comes when we try to verify that they evidence notability. According to the notability guidelines for organizations, the coverage of a subject must have depth. The sources should be about the organization; they should not be merely mentioning it. See WP:ORGDEPTH. For example, if the article is quoting a person working for the organization, but the article itself is about something else, it may not be evidence of notability. We want to only include articles about the most important subjects, and if a subject has only enough coverage to write a very short article, then it probably isn't notable enough for Wikipedia. Make sure your sources have depth of coverage regarding the organization in order to show notability. Michaelzeng7 (talk) 21:13, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
Some articles quote Mr. Buxton and as an appraiser expert, while others highlight him and his organization. That's why I used more than one source after those which merely quote him. Would it be better to submit the page about him as an expert appraiser and mention ArtTrak as opposed to creating a page for the organization itself? He is a notable appraiser who has been with the Antiques Roadshow since it began and is a leading international expert in Tribal Arts. JessicaLaine WikiEditor (talk) 00:51, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

MichaelZeng7 possible personal attack and fishing towards User:DIZwikwiki without grounds and merit
Please comment on your allegation i am a Suspected sockpuppets. respectfully, i believe you are emotionally reacting andhave abused the wiki guidelines in retaliation our my suggestions to KEEP some articles for creation you personally do not like. I do not understand why you felt to bring it on yourself without solid grounds to personally investigate my account, it is simply fishing on your behalf as revenge. Also you should be aware i fall under Legitimate uses.
I have further contacted the local Ombudsman commission regarding this behavior and I am currently pondering communication with the journalist who have written multiple stories with solid investigation skills and sources regarding abusive users, which i believe you are. please do not take this apply pressure, it's simply to inform you that i believe I worthy grounds to do such based on your retaliation and the fact i am being a wrongful victim by yourself. I have provided a couple of articles of commonly known trollers on wiki please see ie.

I believe it's possible you made an error in judgement and in good faith you will apologize for such attack and do you part to fixing the unnecessary attack on my account. lastly, i am willing to forgive and forgetDIZwikwiki (talk) 15:10, 26 January 2014 (UTC) ==
== MichaelZeng7, i do not take is personally. you are fishing and generalizing my account, as far am i'm concern that's the "if it walks like a duct, it's a duck would cover the basis". you blanketed my "keep" with other users. It is simple negligence. Just because i comment on account that is an AfD doesn't mean i'm a sock puppet. multiple users can comment and anytime. you intentionally with malice flagged my account. this isn't a battleground nor intended to be, it's inappropriate of to stake such claim, i also went as far to clarify such. it's a fact you sided without caution for gross negligence, which in my opinion is a serious matter. It's also fishing like behavior. i'm now more than ever concerned about your abusive behavior and abusing the interest of this encyclopedia as i stated in which articles. User's acting in the manor that you have exhibited then further abusing with knowledge is troublesome. i recommend you read the points of these articles http://www.salon.com/2013/05/17/revenge_ego_and_the_corruption_of_wikipedia/
and
http://wildhunt.org/2013/05/anti-pagan-wikipedia-editor-outed-by-salon-com.html simply this type of behavior is wrong this is a clear indication relations
furthermore, it's clear my account is not interested in one particular article creation or user, therefor your abuse of the sock puppeting theory is without merit. Yes, i am in fact pondering what should be done about user's like yourself that abuses the system with negligence, then after being notified of such improper behavior by all appearances does nothing to rectify his actions and attempts to justify those would lead to the valid conclusion of gross negligence. users acting with malice like are yourself are vandalizing and harassing users of good faith like myself, you have wrongfully attacked my character and account without real grounds by generalizing and lumping me to into your improper theory and decision to abuse of the system. Now, I have to spend countless time filing a rebuttal, which on your part simply isn't nice, not to mention you don't care my time is wasted as a direct result of you.DIZwikwiki (talk) 19:47, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Request for article review
Hi there! I've written a page about my research project, but obviously there's the potential for COI as I am one of the key partners, so I've left it in my sandbox. I found you on the list of reviewers, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a look at it for me? The page is: The Elstree Project. Thanks! Howie ☎ 22:20, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

- Thanks for your reply on my talk page and the work you did to clean up the article. I totally understand and take on board your points! It's been quite a while since I've written a new article on Wikipedia, and certainly never about something I'm directly involved in, so the advice you gave is great and much appreciated. DYK for The Elstree Project
On 8 February 2014, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article The Elstree Project, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that The Elstree Project is an ongoing oral history of the studios of Elstree and Borehamwood, with interviewees including Brian Blessed, Steven Spielberg and Roger Moore? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Elstree Project. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Moved discussion from User talk:Michaelzeng7
Hi, Michaelzeng7, I saw you conducted some changes on the Mekaela Academies page. Thanks, we appreciate that, it looks better now. Only the logo seems to be blurry, probably due to the shade our designer had added some year ago. Maybe we should use the initial version of the logo without a shade. If I place that logo on the page, would you kindly replace the current one with it? About my moniker; one of my favourite prog rock bands had an obscure track called Caesars Palace Blues. So, my nick name means that I'm into prog rock, rather than casinos or gambling.

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Home James!
Hi. That's absolutely fine, the plot content removal. It was fast paraphrasing, yes. I'll do a rewrite of that section. Does the bulk look okay as a keeper?
And thanks for your work on Stamford Shakespeare Company!
Dave Crosby (talk) 21:18, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the note! I would recommend adding more sources that cover the subject, because pretty much all of the sources that you've included are either routine coverage or only mention Home James in passing. After doing a quick Google search, I wasn't able to find that many reliable sources about the subject, but that might be because this show is so old. I'll see you around. :) Mz7 (talk) 21:29, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
- Many thanks. It is a very old show, yes. Hopefully I'll dig out more sources. It was, in my humble opinion, a pretty dire show. But was very popular on prime-time UK TV and had a good run. I do like that the director and principal cast have great pedigree. - Dave Crosby (talk) 21:41, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
