Welcome!

Hello, Querido0328, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Billboard 2012, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask at the Teahouse, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 00:56, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Billboard 2012, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. There's no such thing as the "HOT 55". Controversial moves

[edit]

Q, changing to a unique title by using unique odd capitalization is not generally what we do. I reverted one, but I see you've done a bunch of others. You should undo those, and start some WP:RM discussions if you think such a thing makes sense for some reason. Dicklyon (talk) 05:43, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Gym Class Hereos, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Gym Class Heroes. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 06:09, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Gym Class Hereos

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Gym Class Hereos. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Gym Class Heroes. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Gym Class Heroes - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Cntras (talk) 06:36, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

April 2012

[edit]

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Please stop moving songs from their correctly formatted titles to all caps. See Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(music)#Bands.2C_albums_and_songs. Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Princess of China. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Incorrect capitalization on Own the Night, Under the Mistletoe and Born to Die

[edit]

Just to let you know that I restored the right titles for Own the Night, Under the Mistletoe and Born to Die. I see you've already received several messages asking you to stop renaming pages with wrong capitalization and refer to Wikipedia's naming conventions but clearly, you don't care... --Sofffie7 (talk) 13:40, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Help Survey

[edit]

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,

July 2012

[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 05:20, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Cerealicious, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Terminator (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 04:34, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of number-ones

[edit]

Please do not disrupt these articles or make huge changes to them without gaining consensus. There is no need to list number-twos. - eo (talk) 13:54, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User space/sandboxes

[edit]

Please note that user space (including sandboxes) should not be used as a webhost for personal infomation, per WP:UP#NOT. Your page User:Querido0328/sandbox contains information that is obviously not being used to improve any already-existing articles. The content of a deleted article (Billboard 2012) should not be copied to your sandbox just so that you can keep it. Any non-encyclopedia content will need to be removed or it will be nominated for deletion at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion. Thanks. - eo (talk) 14:14, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:Querido0328/sandbox

[edit]

User:Querido0328/sandbox, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Querido0328/sandbox and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Querido0328/sandbox during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. - eo (talk) 18:53, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can I have at least the current copy of the sandbox.

Request reason:

I am not using an open proxy nor will I ever use it in my entire life for I am using my own computer that is strictly prohibited for other people to use. So please unblock me so I can have an easy time in Wikipedia. Thanks! Querido0328 (talk) 11:55, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline as this account is not directly blocked (i.e., you should be able to edit from some other IP) What message do you see when you try to edit? Specifically, what IP are you being told is blocked? — Daniel Case (talk) 15:05, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

HERE IT IS

[edit]

The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open proxy. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you believe you are not running an open proxy, the most likely cause is that another customer from your ISP who was previously assigned this IP address was running an open proxy. If this is the case, please request to be unblocked using the {{unblock}} template, or request administrator attention using {{admin!}} and indicate you are caught by an open proxy block. More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software (such as a virus). In some cases, this can be remedied by logging into the secure server. For more information, see the Wikiproject on Open Proxies and Wikipedia:Open proxies. Querido0328 (talk) 9:55, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

What IP address does it say is affected? If we don't know that, we can't help you. Daniel Case (talk) 16:21, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Account creation from this IP address (182.18.209.2) has been temporarily restricted. This is probably due to persistent vandalism from the IP address you are editing from, which may be shared by many people if you are connected to the Internet via a proxy server (used by most schools and corporations and some Internet service providers) or dial-up access. Querido0328 (talk) 6:30, July 1 2013 (UTC)

From what I can see, you should have no trouble editing while logged in ... only if you try to edit without logging in (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:10, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
...and since you have actually edited your userpage since the above, it appears that all is fine - you would not be able to do that if you were blocked (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:13, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I know, but it says that even I'm blocked, I can USUALLY edit my talk and user page. If I'm blocked, I just refresh up to the time I can edit. And it's such an annoyance because I can't edit anything other than my own talk and user page. I can't edit articles or whatnot. So can I be unblocked now? Querido0328 (talk) 4:46, July 3 2013 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Querido0328 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. PHANTOMTECH (talk) 12:21, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Apologies for this. May I just request to retrieve the deleted material for my reference, please? Querido0328 (talk) 14:02, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. As far back as 2012 it was explained to you that you were mistaken in thinking that userspace pages are free personal web pages for you to do whatever you like. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. However, continuing to do the same things after being told about the relevant policies and guidelines is a different matter.JBW (talk) 13:20, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
